7 Minutes In Heaven

The car ride home was numbing, somehow I just felt... nothing. A white noise filled my mind as I blocked everything out. I slowly walked up the stairs to my apartment, and opened the door, my hands shaking as I turned the door nob. I collapsed in bed with all my clothes on, staring at the ceiling until I fell asleep

Rome: (where did he and Ally leave off?)

Bekka: When I awoke, I had an hour to get ready. Perfect.
Hair let loose from the sweep-up do, it tumbled in defined curls down my back. I had to look good today, it was a known fact that everyone looked bad after parties, and I would glow today, outshining everyone else, just as usual. I wanted to call Ally so we could match and be gorgeous together, but I knew she was with Rome.
I swept on some light make-up to match my floral loose green blouse and dark skinny jeans with silver trim. Black flats and a brown cloth headband got me ready. Finally, I was done. I looked at the time, and I'd be a bit early for school.
After driving in my white convertible and arriving at school, I went right for my locker, beside Ally, waiting for her. We so needed a girl talk.

hm. ally just said to text her with when and where before leaving.

Jonas
Uuggg, so hungover...I fumbled blindly for the sunglasses I knew were under my bed, and cursed when I couldn't find them at first. Then I fell off my bed, straining my eyes until I found them in the dusty shadows. I snatched them up, and put them on quickly. Perfect. Then I grabbed my spare bottle of Yellow Canary, taking a few swigs until my hangover subsided. Ironically, an amazing treatment. Then I showered quickly so I didn't smell like alcohol, and got dressed in the first clothes I could find. Then I jumped in my car and sped off. When I reached the school's parking lot, I just sat there for a long while

Right!

Rome: I took her hand and lead her down the house. Everyone inside was sleeping, and a few bodies slept draped over couches and rugs. Looked like school wouldn't be very populated with anyone popular today.
We snuck quietly out the door and to my car, and I opened the door for her, giving her a white smile. Sliding in the car seat, I started the engine and began to pull away.
"Ally, don't forget . . . I'll text you when we need to meet up," I leaned over to whisper this in her ear.
I felt my stomach stirring at the thought of Ally again.

Ally
I give a similar smile and nod. God, if my parents only knew... This all felt amazing, the building suspense and the memory of last night. I had to check with Bekka, make sure she got home alright and such with that kid...Jonas...?

Bekka: I saw Ally coming in the doors, Rome by her side but he quickly rushed off. He gave me some sort of death glare. Fuh-reak.
Then I remembered he'd slept with Ally.
Shit.
Ok, what the hell?
I ran over and waved.
"Ally!"
It turned out she did look alright after the party. Pretty.
Really pretty.
Shut up. Please. Just shut up, stupid voice. You only cause trouble.
"Tell me all about it! In detail! I need to know!" I laughed after giving her a big hug.

Ally
I give a small smile, hugging her back. "In detail?" I ask, blushing. God, i feel like a little kid again with her. "It was...nice...Rome was a gentleman about it certainly."

Jonas
I finally went inside, passing Ally and Bekka without even a glance in their direction. Then I stared to notice the stares. Most of the kids in the hall were staring at me, more specifically, my arm. That's right, my arm was exposed last night... news travels fast

Bekka: "That is so not detail. Oh well, looks like your lips are sealed."
She has nice lips.
Fuck, that was my own thoughts? Me?
"Anyways, know what was weird? My mom thought we were dating last night. Is she on crack or what?" I laugh nervously.
She's got such nice eyes, too.
What am I doing? I'm still sort of hugging her, my arms around her back.
I drop them and look around. No one saw. I look back up at her.
"I've got a modeling shoot later today, but maybe we can sneak out before class and skip to talk about this. The park, maybe?"
Being alone with Ally suddenly sends me shivering.
What the hell is wrong with me?!?!?!??!?!?

Rome: I was at my locker, and I looked over at a kid who was a bit familiar.
"Jonas, that you? Dude, you look so messed up." I laughed, his eye bags were almost black.
"So, did you bang her, or did you bang her?"

Jonas
I ajusted my sunglasses to totally hide my eyes again "Nope." I said evenly, my voice cool and detatched "She decided that she was too good for the poor cripple, which shouldn't have really surprised me... you were right, Rome" As much as I hated to admit it

Ally
I smile. Well, we have been friends for...forever, virtually. At least it felt that way. Hm. Before class...during break then? I think through my schedule, Rome coming to mind. "I'll text you, see if things work out," i resolve to say. New plans should always be loose, as mom always says...

Rome: "I told you so, and you didn't listen. See, I'm always right. That Bekka is a bitch," I peered over his shoulder to see the back of her head, and she was standing too close to Ally for me to like it.
"Oh well. You'll get over it. Get a girl drunk enough and they'll hump watermelons," I shrugged.
"Speaking of which, you wanna sit with us for lunch?"

Bekka: "Oh. Alright."
For some reason, I feel hurt. She probably has plans right Rome. Right. They're a thing now.
Ugh.
I know the reason I'm hurt.
"We could go now, like, skip Algebra. I mean, it won't hurt anything, we're both excellent at it . . . Er, good enough," I laugh lightly, flipping my curls.
Not to impress the crowd. To impress her.
Yeah. As if.

Jonas
"You mean the popular table?" I raised an eyebrow "The populars couldn't even stand me before, and now that they know about my arm..." Wait, did he even know about my arm? Oh well, whatever "I think I'll just sit in my usual spot, thanks" I also didn't want to face Bekka

Rome: "Suit yourself. We've got some babes at the table, and honestly? They'll date you if you're friends with me. You can still get some, with, er, that," I nudged his arm and laughed.
A few other buddies came over and agreed, overhearing from near us.
"Who are you?" Raeko said, looking at Jonas.
"He's a dude at the stupid party last night. Jonas."
Raeko nodded and introduced himself.
"Sure you want to sit alone, dude?"

"Hm...Skip my most hated subject..." I laugh. "Sure, Bekks." Eighteen now anyways, i could sign myself out of school if i really wanted to. Just not enough times to make it obvious to my parents. Ugh, the chains are back...

"Maybe... sure" I shrugged, too hungover to really debate, anyway "As long as I don't get thrown and locked in any dumpsters... again"

Bekka: I smiled, and oddly reached over to stroke the side of her face
We were in the middle of a hallway. No one was watching.
"Good. I'd like to see you," I say a little too seriously.
My eyes are focused on her lips. I push my hand under her ear.
"Ally, how does this feel? Good or bad?"
What the he'll am I doing? Saying?
I was not sure. Everyone was leaving the halls, an we were at the entrance.
This felt good though.

Rome: Raeko laughed.
"Man, that was when you were lame. Now you're cool."
Raeko smiled and left for class.
"WOAH. Hotness," I whispered as some blonde chick walked by.
"Later Jonas. I need to talk to that girl, whoever she is!"
I ran over and tapped her shoulder.

Jen: I spun around on my heel, quickly checking out the boy and judging whether he was worth talking to. Hmm he had a nice body, decent hair...hadn't tried to talk to me with some corny pick-up line yet. I'd give him a...8? Maybe a 9. I smiled and batted my eyelashes. "Well hello there."

Rome: "And who are you?" I said smiling.
"Rome, for me. I don't remember ever seeing you."
New girl? I so get dibs. Look at those boobs!
The memory of Ally came to me fast. Instead of dismissing it, I took it in and rememberer to be less flirty.

Jen: "I don't remember you, either. What a shame." I twirled one of my blonde locks of hair. "I'm Jen, but /you/ can call me whatever you like."

Ally
How /does/ that feel? I reach up slowly and take her hand gently, but don't move to push her away. I meet her eyes a moment. Bekka is, always has been, my friend. My best friend. And yet butterflies are in my stomach.
"It...It feels..."
Sort of feels like when i was thirteen and just starting to get interested in relationships. There were all those shows about lesbians or bi's. I always felt...sort of supportive of that. Love is love, doesn't matter who it's between. Have i felt that way towards Bekka? I've always felt hurt when she was sad over a break up or whatever. Always thought she deserved better...that I might just...
"It feels...nice," i say, my voice an oddly soft whisper. As if there's anyone in the halls who would care what we're saying.

Rome: My eyes widened.
"Can I call your number, too?" I laugh.
Stop flirting, Rome. Remember Ally.
"SoIBetterGetToClassRightNow!" I scramble out in one breath.
Eyes off her boobs. Do not look at her boobs. But it's a V neck!
