7 Minutes In Heaven

Grace: "Ahhh." I nodded. Hm. Now what to talk about...

Jonas
"Maybe we should go for a drink sometime? Not... like in /that/ way, but like in the casual friendly aquaintaces way?"

Grace: I smiled. "Sure, casual acquaintance, alcoholic-friends-who-talk-about-flowers way. I think that could work."

Jonas
I chuckled "Well if you put it like that... sounds fun"

Grace: I grinned. "Yeah...should we, like...swap numbers? So that we can plan that." I slid my phone out of my pocket.

Jonas
"Oh, sure" I said, sliding my phone out of my pocket as well, not really seeing this as anything more then two aquaintances swapping numbers so they could drink some time. Was it more? No

Grace: Nope, nothing more. Plus, I didn't date. So that wasn't even part of my mindset. I put my contact info into his phone, and handed it back.

Jonas
I jolted her a text that said nothing more then 'hey', so she'd have my number in her contacts

jolted? xD

Grace: "Are you in my grade? I haven't seen you much."

oh shut up... xD

Jonas
"Depends, what grade are you in? And I have a tendancy to stay in the corner, anyway"

Grace:"Sophomore."

Jonas
"Oh, and I'm a Junior" I said with a slight nod "That would explain why we've never seen each other in class"

Grace: "Oh, yeah, it would. And you're not in any of the clubs I've been forced to join." I waved the Jewelry Club flyers. "Sure you're not interested?" I joked.

Jonas
"Ooh, tempting offer..." I laughed "but I think I'll pass, sorry"

Grace: "Just think what people would say about a guy in Jewelry Club." I rolled my eyes. "It's bad enough being a GIRL in it."

Jonas
"That's something I rather not test out... I don't think my reputation needs any more damage. Everybody already knows about the arm..."

Grace: "What? About the arm?" I asked in confusion.

Jonas
"Oh... you don't?" That's weird, it sounded like everybody knew. I pulled up my right sleeve, to reveal the metal and wires "I guess everybody just assumed I wore long sleeves year 'round because they thought I was a cutter. And then at the party..."

Grace: I gaped at his arm. "That's so cool! You're like a robot. Or...that other thing, half human half robot? Can I touch it??"

Jonas
"Android?" I laughed "I guess technically I am... huh... and you're not repulsed or creeped out or anything?" I raised an eyebrow "Sure, you can touch it. But it's cold, just a heads up"

Grace: "Why would I be "repulsed" or "creeped out," this is, like, the coolest thing ever!" A smile came to my face that lit up my eyes and touched the fake arm. It was cold, but not too bad.

Jonas
"Because everybody else has been, now, instead of just being the emo freak, everybody sees me as the emo ROBOTIC freak" I sighed, but her enthusiasm made me chuckle

Grace: "You don't seem emo to me...or like a freak." My brow furrowed as I drew back my hand, not wanting to seem weird by feeling the fake arm for too long. "Why do you have a fake arm, anyway? I want one.."

Jonas
"I got shot" I said simply, hoping I could leave it at that

Grace: Now /that/ was a little frightening. I wouldn't ask why, though. I probably didn't even want to know. I shuffled my flyers uncomfortably for a moment. "Ah, I see. Hm. Well. I should be going now...."
