Dakota: "What makes you think I'd want to hold your hand?" I teased.

Brok: "What makes you think I think you wouldn't?" I countered.

Dakota: I paused, confused."What?!"

Brok: "Never mind. Are we going or not?"

Dakota: "Yes. I'd look up movie times, but my computer's a dinosaur."

Brok: "I'll do it," I said, turning to my laptop. "Says there's one at three. We can sneak snacks in if you want."

Dakota: "Okay, so what time should we meet then? A little bit before?"

Brok: "Sure. Say, one thirty?"

Dakota: "Mmkay. At the theater... or?"

Brok: "Maybe I can go to your house?"

Dakota: I paused. "I don't think you want to. It's not really in a very nice neighborhood and it's nowhere near as nice as your "house."

Brok: I laughed. "I want a mobile home sometimes, not one that flies. How about we meet outside the music store, then?"

Dakota: I frowned. "It's not a /mobile/ home, but it's just not nice," I muttered. "Okay, music store it is.."

Brok: "I was just saying," I said. "But alright, I'll meet you there."

Dakota: "Bye," I said then hung up, my mood a little lower than it was. Shake it off, Dakota, he didn't mean it that way.

Brok: I headed off to the music store, excited to see her.

Dakota: I left for the music store.

Brok: I got there first and waited for her.

Dakota: "Hi, Brok." I smiled as I walked up to him, though it didn't quite reach my eyes.

Brok: I smiled and hugged her, although she seemed a little down. "Hey."

Dakota: "So we're going to get snacks right? For the movie?"

Brok: "Definitely. Let's go."

Dakota: "Where are we getting them from?" I followed him.

Brok: "The supermarket."

Dakota: "Okay." I nodded, smiling still.
