Trent: I shrugged. "One-year-long relationships take longer to get over, especially when you know you were the problem."

Lena: I nodded while I thought his words over. "my relationship with Tara obviously wasn't the romantic kind, but best friends are hard to get over, too. I've known Tara since Kindergarten. So I can sympathize."

Rose: "Pleasure." I said politely.

Trent: "Ok, who is this Tara chick? Did she run your life or something?o I asked. "I don't even know her and she annoys me."

Michael: I really didn't know what to say next; this girl was really.... Erm... Sharp...?

Lena: I laughed. "She's not that bad, and she didn't really ruin my life...she was trying to help me, and now her words are stuck in my head. Even after she decided that I wasn't good enough to be her friend anymore."

trent: "Well that sucks," I commented.

Lena: "Yeah...not to be mean, but you and I are kind of in the same boat here. Both of us were ditched by someone we love, whether in a romantic or friend way, and both of us are looking for an escape." I waited for him to get angry that I had compared him to me.

Trent: "How is that being mean?" I asked her honestly. She seemed to take everything too seriously.

Rose: This guy was interesting. Seemed kind of quiet. But he was cute. Seemed like all of the guys here were cute. Now that you mention it, the girls here were cute too. I must really be cute in order to even be invited here. I'm impressed.

Michael: "Youre really not a party person, are you?"

Rose: "Nope. Never been to one in my life. Other than birthday parties. But those don't really count." I said.

Lena:"I just didn't want to offend you. No one usually likes to be compared to me especially, well, Tara."

Arlo: I saw Rose yet again from the party. I caught her attention and smiled, then looked down. She was a cute piece of jailbait and she might be my downfall. Nonetheless.

Rose: Out of the corner of my eye I saw Arlo. I winked at him. Cute Rose, cute.
