The Party Chat

"Sure!" said Liz cheerfully. Ezra and Andrew sulked.

"This is all your fault!" hissed Ezra.

"My fault?! You brought us here in the first place!" snapped Andrew.

"You weren't invited!"

Vincent: I smiled as I slow danced with the girl.

Serina: I sighed.

Aaron had the happiest grin on his face, Derek chuckled...he looked like an idoit.

((Someone could dance with Leslie, too...

*feels kinda left-out*))

Derek walked up to Leslie, "Want to dance?"

I looked up, surprised.
"Um, sure," I said, suddenly becomming very shy.
Me, shy? When was I ever shy? I was 525 years old; how could I be shy?!

"Okay," said Derek, taking her hand.

I felt my heart beat just a little faster as he took my hand. How long had it been since I'd been this close to a Mundane...? I mean, physically close. Must've been a while...
I tried not to show my nervousness. I mean, yeah, I'd had experience in this field before, but it was so long ago!

"You're a good dancer," said Derek.

"Thanks," I said with a small smile. "You are, too."
In fact, I thought he was better than I was.

"Right now I'm just surprised I haven't tripped or stepped on your feet," he laughed.

"Ahaha, same here," I said with a grin.
This mortal seemed nice...and he wasn't half-bad looking, either. Ah, no, don't go there. I had to be sure to keep my heart deep down in a hole, away from all those who wouldn't live forever. I could spend time with this Mundane now and be happy, but I had to make sure not to get too attached.

"Really? You're way better than I am."

"Oh, I'm not so sure about that. And I can't even remember the last time I danced with someone."

"I've never slow danced like this," he shrugged.

(Derrick is now left out )

The lights went out, and the group stood alone in the dark.
"What did you do?" hissed Ezra.

"Nothing!" said Andrew defensivly.

Serina: "What's going on?!"

"I don't know..." said Aaron still holding her.

Serina: "Don't let go..."

"I won't," he said smiling to himself, she couldn't see it in the dark.
