C. D. - character development

Kiera:
I flap off David's shoulder and land in front of Ezra.

Ezra reached into his pocket, took out the vial, and poured a small amount into Kiera's mouth. "Ya may wannna move!"

David:
I take a few steps back.

Kiera:
I start to grow. I smile as I get bigger. When I am full size I boom, "YAY! I'M BIG AGAIN!"

David:
"Quiet!" I hiss.

Kiera:
"Sorry" I whisper, shrinking down to my human form.

"You...can do that?"

Kiera:
I giggle, "Yeah" I say smiling. My brown hair falling down my shoulders.

"Um...that...WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT BEFORE?!"

Kiera:
"QUIT YELLING!" I yell back, "And I forgot!"

"How could you forget?! YOU'RE YELLING TOO!!!"

Kiera:
I hide behind David. "David," I wimper, "Ezra is scaring me!"

David:
I sigh and say, "Please stop or I'll never hear the end of it!"

"Good, I hope I do." he chuckled.

Leslie
"Shut up, you morons!" I hissed. "We'll have the entire frickin' Heavenly host on us if you keep it up!"

"I really have kissed someone, punched someone, and I can pick up objects. No lie." Andrew smirked.

"Ok! Ok! Sorry!" said Ezra, puting his hands up into surrender.

"I took some friends," confesses Ventrix. "I thought this might be in order."
he whistles, and a few coated figures extricate themselves from the most unlikely of hiding places. The six of them salute Ventrix and shoulder their sawn-off muskets.
"I would suggest taking the most obvious choice and attacking via the front." Ventrix uses the tip of his sword to draw imaginary shapes and lines on the ground. "It is probable that with the element of surprise and a sustained attack they will not have time to question our motives or our presence. I can make no guarantees about time, as we are facing an untested force of unknown numbers. I would suggest that the moment the firing starts, Leslie and company enter via the rear and take Andrew while they they are preoccupied. I doubt you will be troubled by their guards. I suggest that you take up your positions first, and then signal with a whistle when you are in position. After that, execute phase two the moment you hear gunfire."
Ventrix looks around at them. "Any questions?"

"This is confusing..." said Liz, shaking her head.

"No it's not! Look!" said Ezra, explaining the plan to her.

David:
"Like I said Kiera and I will go above causing even more confusion. Say the word and we'll go" I say, "Right Kiera?"

Kiera:
I nod, "Right!"

"And you'll be a dragon or a person?"

"I imagine she'd have to be a dragon to fly," remarks Ventrix. He betrays no warmth in his voice.

"Sorry..." said Liz, sounding hurt.

"It's not you who has to be sorry," Ventrix says nonchalantly. He swishes his sabre a couple of times more.

"Me?" Ezra laughed. "Why should I be sorry?"

Kiera:
"Yes, I would be in dragon form, or else I couldn't fly, and neither could David" I say.

"Ok," said Liz. "Can you change into anything else?"

Kiera:
I raise an eyebrow, "Like what a squirrel? No, I can only become a human"

"Why only a human?"

Kiera:
"I don't know. Why do humans have opposable thumbs? It's just how we are made"
