Annaleah: she thought she heard something, and possibly saw something. It was faint, but there; only visible if she was looking for it, like a spider's web. There were figures. And voices. "I...I'm not sure..." she said, and strained to see. "...maybe. I might just be imagining it."

Moi: "Hmmm...." She flew right in her face and she flinched back. "She can!"
Annabel: "Interesting."
Mr. Sam: "Quite. I think she might be the second, besides you Faylinn."
Faylinn: I nodded and watched their reactions to this fact. I smiled. At least i wasn't the only one. Maybe now i could leave the hospital now.

Annaleah: she smiled back, still a little dazed that all of this was happening. "This is all so stange..." A thought struck her then. Maybe she was dreaming. She tried to be sublte as she pinched her arm, just to make sure...it hurt. She was awake.

Faylinn: "Your awake. I make sure everyday." I looked to her. "I'm not crazy?"

Annaleah: her expression slowly lifted into a smile. "Alright. You're not crazy." Then she frowned, remembering when Faylinn told her she was insane. "You were playing with me when we first met. You tried to scare me."

Faylinn: I smiled. "You found me out. Not as quickly as Eric though." I glanced up at him and laughed. "The first time we met you figured out i was blind. No one else in that hospital could even after four years!"

Annaleah: she laughed. "Really? I just assumed...well, your eyes are glossed over, I simply recognised them as blind."

Faylinn: "I suppose the doctors here determined that a sign of my insanity." I paused. "My friends help me get around. I don't need anyone to guide me. they didn't suspect a thing."

Annaleah: She nodded. "I had my second thoughts, too, when you looked at me. Or...when you appeared to look at me. Sometimes I forget that you're blind altogether." She thought for a moment. "Do you know what I look like?"

Faylinn: I shook my head. I raised my hands to her. "May i?"

Annaleah: She blinked, then understood. "Of course," she said.

Faylinn: My eyes closed and i brushed my fingers along her face. I smiled. "What color are your eyes...and hair?" I lowered my hands and smiled at her.

Annaleah: "Hmm. My hair is red, but it turns a little bit blonde in the summer...and my eyes are a light green color. I wish they were blue, though."

Faylinn: I nodded. "I think green suits you better. You're very pretty."

Annaleah: She smiled. "Thank you. You're pretty, too." She thought for a moment. "What color were your eyes?"

Faylinn: I thought about it. "If i remember right, they were amberish. Sort of gold. They were like my mom's."

Annaleah: "Really? Cricket's eyes are like that, too."

Faylinn: "I think i'd like to meet him one day. He sounds like a character."
Isabella: I smiled. "Curious as always?"
Faylinn: I giggled. "Yes."

Annaleah: she giggled. "He is. Quirky, but no one likes a perfect person."

Faylinn: I nodded. I giggled. "I'm certainly not."
Isabella: "That's what makes you you," she purred. "No one else."
Mr. Sam: "Yes. Very true." Me smiled. "Very good point, Miss," he said to Annaleah.

Annaleah: she could barely make out their words. "Thank you," she said, and nodded at the shadowy figure that might have been Mr. Sam. "I don't see why people become so concerned about fitting in. If we were all the same, nothing would be different...it would all be black and white."

Faylinn: "When does it become so, when people cannot accept the differences though?" She looked troubled as her eyes traveled in the direction of Eric. he had moved off a few steps and now looked away from the two of them.

Annaleah: She noticed Eric, but continued. "I suppose that depends on who looks apon the differences."

Faylinn: "True. Eric accepts me more than the other doctors, after all." I smiled up at him. i didn't know if he was looking or not. "And you accept me more now." I fidgeted uncomfortably.
