Faelinn: "What then?"

Annaleah: "Well...a little bit of faith and hope and watchfulness."

Faelinn: I frowned. "That's silly."

Annaleah: "Sillier than the idea of a blind girl who talks to ghosts who have parinormal powers?"

Faylinn: "Yes. At least you can test their paranormal powers to know they're there, and you can see them even if it's not as good as me. There's no way to test God..."

Annaleah: "Aye, says the girl who doesn't remember the world. God can't be tested, he's just there. There's amazing things in the world that couldn't have been assembled by mere chance. So, there must be someone who's assembled it. Someone with imagination and cleverness and even a sense of humor."

Faylinn: "Must be laughing pretty hard at me," she said with complete seriousness.

Annaleah: her thoughtful smile dissapeared for a second, and it was replaced by a warm one. "You can see ghosts," she said. "If God exists, I'm sure he has big plans for you."

Faylinn: "If God exists, why aren't they in the afterlife?" She countered.

Annaleah: she shrugged. "I wouldn't know, I'm not God. Perhaps they aren't ghosts at all, but something entirely different."

Isabella: "But we've all died."
Moi: "You can't call this the next life, certainly. Wouldn't Fae see....a bit more of us if it was?"
mr. Sam: "I have to agree, Miss. We are ghosts. There's just no other word for us."

Annaleah: "Alas, I don't know then. All I know is that there is a universe, and it has to be created by somebody or something. I find it all fascinating, really, to wonder how it all came to be. I don't have any answers that can be proven." She paused in thought. "Heck, perhaps it is blind faith."

Isabella: "There are no coincidences though. Only inevitability."
Mr Sam: "Ratios."
Moi: "Odds."
Annabel: "Chances for things to go good or bad."

Annaleah: "Precisely why I find it so fascinating. What are the odds? To somehow wind up with a universe, it would be like spilling paint and creating a perfectly precise image, only more so. Everything simply fits. One slight change, and life as we know it would be entirely different."

Mr Sam: "But who knows what attempt this is at perfection? Is there such a thing?"
Annabel: "Maybe, but not this time."
Moi: "Here we are, souls without a body unable to go where ever souls go after."
Isabella: "Maybe we aren't supposed to go anywhere at all; just sort of fade off into oblivion."
Moi: "Or become demons," she pointed out.

Annaleah: "What is perfection, anyhow?" She asked, mostly to herself. "If there were such a thing as a perfect world where no one hated or wept or killed, or where there's no sorrow, how would we know happiness? Everything would be flat. There would be no beauty to it, just like a blank canvas."
