Zane: I laughed. "Okay, I'm not one of those guys."

Alexandra: I laughed too. "So, tell me about you."

Zane: I laughed. "I've been trying to do that. Hey, wait. What's your favorite color?"

Alexandra: "Hmmm. Blue or purple."

Zane: I nodded. "A lot of people like blue."

Alexandra: I shrugged slightly. "Have you ever been surfing before?" I eyed him curiously.

Zane: I laughed. "Lots of times."

Alexandra: I smiled at that. "Good, then you know the freedom of being on a board and how it feels having a wave at your heels."

Zane: I nodded. "Yes. I do."

Alexandra: "do you have any siblings?"

Zane: "Nah. I'm an only child. You?"

Alexandra: I moaned. "Lucky. I have two older brothers who are both pains."

Zane: I laughed. "How much older are they than you?"

Alexandra: "My one brother is two years older and my other is three. And I swear they've made a pact to protect me from the world."

Zane: I laughed. "That's kind of funny, actually."

Alexandra: I rolled my eyes. "You're not the one who has to deal with brothers who think you're seven and not seventeen."

Zane: I laughed. "Ash is kinda like that with his sister. Zacch was like that with Bella too."

Alexandra: I laughed. "So does it ever get lonely being the only child?"

Alice: "Why?"

Zane: I laughed. "Nah. I have friends to annoy."

Ash: "Why what?"

Alexandra: I grinned slightly. I looked into his eyes. "So tell me something about you that I would never guess."

Zane: I raised an eyebrow. "Hm...my middle name is Jerome."

Alice: "Why would it annoy you?"
