The Summer that changed my life forever...

Dakota: "I mostly was, anyway."

Brok: "Mostly? What the heck," I said, kissing her some more.

Dakota: "Because it's annoying to have to feel like I have to be careful when I kiss you."

Brok: "Why would you need to be careful?"

Dakota: "Because you think that anything beyond kissing -- like, I don't know, touching -- leads to...sex. And it doesn't."

(xD I don't know why, but writing that made me laugh)

Brok: I frowned. "No...I never said that..."

Dakota: "You never /said/ it, but last time we watched the stars, on the hill or mountain or whatever, you stopped us just because I was on top of you."

Brok: "Fine. Get on top of me," I said. "I'll prove to you that that's not how I actually think."

Dakota: "No." I wrinkled my nose. "Do you have any idea how weird that sounded?"

Brok: I groaned. "Sorry. But seriously, Kota. I don't really think that."

Dakota: "Whatever you say~" I said, but didn't believe him. He was a little too pure sometimes, even if he didn't know it.

(it gets harder and harder to think about brok ending up w/ someone besides Kota. which is why i'm delaying writing his story with Down 15th street.)

Brok: I smiled at her. "Well, what matters is that we're here together, right?"

Dakota: I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Right."

Brok: I grinned. "Well, then that's good," I said. I pointed at the stars. "Hey, look. See a CD?"

(we have to have Brok piss Trey off so he'll tell)

Dakota: I squinted. "Yeah, kinda, I guess."

(how are we gonna do that? trey's not that easy to piss off.)

Brok: "Do you see anything else?"

Dakota: "a sharpie."

(the only way to piss trey off is talking about fiona but brok doesn't talk about her anymore.)

Brok: I laughed. "You would. Where?"

(and lol, get him talking about her somehow. or dakota could talk about her to trey..hehe)

Dakota: "And /you/ would see a CD," I countered, but pointed to where I saw the Sharpie.

(hmm...no...I'll go reply though.)
(that's a good idea. then trey can argue w/ brok about it and then he'll get pissed off.)

Brok: "Ah," I said. "I see it. For your birthday, should I buy you a bunch of Sharpies?" I teased.

Dakota: I shrugged. "It'd save me money, I go through those pretty quickly," I said, even though I knew he was joking.

Brok: I laughed. "Fine. I'll go buy you a 100 pack if I can find one."

Dakota: "Do itttt. Then you'd be the best boyfriend ever."

Brok: I laughed. "Aren't I already the best boyfriend ever? But okay, I will. When's your birthday again?"

Dakota: "December 14th. So you have awhile. When's your birthday?"
