Shane: It was time for the first practice ever for this new band we were going to form. I drove up to Kelsey's mansion and rang her doorbell.

Kelsey: I hurried down the marble steps and answered the door. I had asked the maid to stay out of sight, in case it made the others uncomfortable. Same with the butler. I opened the door, and smiled my dimpled smile. "Hi Shane."

(haha nice! maid and butler.)

Shane: I smiled at her. "Hey, Kelsey. Is everyone else here yet?"

(well, she does have those )

Kelsey: "Meli is...none of the others yet." Just as I said that, Annika came riding up to the house on her motorcycle. Well, I think it was her dad's -- wasn't it illegal to let 17-year-olds buy one of those, after all? "Scratch that, Meli and Annika are here."

(haha I think it's awesome, actually.)
(motorcycle?! WHOO!)

Shane: I nodded. "Ah. I'm sure Ryan and Evan will be coming soon."

Ryan: I walked over and saw Annika arrive. "Hey, Anni," I said.

(if she doesn't like the nickname, now is the time to say so.)

Kelsey: I leaned against the doorframe. "Looks like it." I nodded over Shane's shoulder at Ryan.

Annika: I glanced over when I heard my name and smiled. My smile was more like a smirk, though. "Hey."

(no, she likes it. She doesn't like her name, because it goes with her sister, Danica's name. I was going to put Danica in, too, but ...meh)

Shane: I nodded. "Ah. Alright. Should I set up first?"

Ryan: "You ready?"

Evan: Crap! I was late. Of course. I started heading over to the address Kelsey had given me.

Kelsey: "Oh! Yeah, that'd be a good idea. I can show you where..." I began to walk, assuming he'd follow.

Annika: I shrugged. "Of course, I'm /always/ ready."

Meli: I sat in the room we were using, picking at my nail polish. It was a big, open room, with a stage to one side. It was bare aside from some equipment we might need -- e.g. amps -- and the walls seemed to be covered in what looked like soundproof panels. Nice.

Shane: I followed her.

Ryan: "Good. Let's go in, shall we?"

Evan: I nearly hit a tree, but I swerved just in time. I nearly bumped into someone's car as I parked. I'd never learned to park parallel. Oh well. I was alive. I grabbed some drum sticks from the back and hopped out.

Kelsey: I led him to the soundproofed room I'd left Meli in. "Here we are. Do whatever you want...we don't use this room much."

Annika: "Race ya." I ran off before he could agree, inside the house and followed the voices -- Kelsey's and Shane's -- that I had heard.

Shane: "Awesome," I said and started uncasing.

Ryan: She beat me. "Dang it," I complained. I glanced behind me. "Hey, Evan's here."

Evan: I started walking to the house.

Meli: I watched Shane curiously from across the room, then decided I should help. After all, I had to set up stuff for my guitar, too. I walked over to him. "Can I help?"

Annika: "I /always/ win," I said triumphantly, then looked over his shoulder. "Yep, Evan is here. Good observation."

Shane: "There's not much to do. Are the drums set up? That part might take a while."

Ryan: I shrugged. "Well, I saw Evan first, so I win that."

Evan: I walked past them and into the house, unsure where to go.

Meli: "Ahh, no they aren't." I went to start setting them up.

Annika: "Now we're playing "I Spy?"

Kelsey: I left the soundproof room and noticed Evan look lost. "Hey, Evan, we're all back here...well, besides Annika and Ryan."

Shane: "I'll help too," I said, going over.

Ryan: "Nah. Hey, let's get going upstairs." I waved to Kelsey. "Hey, yo Kels!"

Evan: "Oh," I said. "Cool," I said, following.

Meli: "Yeah, it's kind of hard to do alone." I offered a slight smile.

Annika: "Upstairs?" I blinked. "What?"

Kelsey: I led him to the soundproof room which was on the /main floor/.

Shane: I helped put some cymbals on.

Ryan: "So we can rehearse?"

Evan: "Thanks," I said. I walked over to the drum set. "Sorry. I'll help."

Meli: *does something pertaining to setting up a drum set* I looked up at Evan. "Oh, its fine. We're almost done."

Annika: "Or we could go to the same room as everyone else, smarty." I grabbed his hand -- in a completely /unromantic/ way -- and dragged him to the soundproof room everyone else had been at.

(Maybe they can be best friends? ^)

Kelsey: I watched as they set up their instruments, and got out my notebook and planner. Assistant stuff, right?

(haha.)

Shane: I walked back over to my guitar.

(sounds good. Ryan is the type that would hold hands with his best friend and not mind. The other four, though, not so much. You picked the right one xD)

Ryan: "Right," I said. "Hey, we're here. What's up, people?"

Evan: "Cool," I said and took a seat. "Everyone else ready?"

Meli: I went to the other side of the room to get my guitar.

(She just kinda...grabbed his hand, but yeah. Ryan gave off that chill kind of vibe.

Annika: I dropped Ryan's hand and went to check the quality of Kelsey's mics.

Kelsey: "It looks like everyone will be in a second."

(it's fine! It's Ryan. He's cool with it.)

Evan: "Alright," I said, lightly beating on a few of the drums.

Shane: I flipped through a few song sheets.

Ryan: I smiled and started setting up my bass.

(Alrighty. I'm going to be adding in a few things like that so they don't all seem like strangers :o like you'll see in Annika's post....)

Kelsey: I wish I had some kind of musical talent. Oh well, I was good with organizing stuff. That was a talent, right?

Annika: I walked over to Shane, my smirk-smile on my face. "Hey Shane. What are you looking through?" I thought they might be songs, but I wasn't sure, since this was the first practice. Sometimes I talked to Shane in History, the one class I had with him, but I doubted he really acknowledged that I existed. How pathetic, having a crush on someone you hardly talk to. I should really give up.

(Just things like that to make it seem like they already knew each other :o though I tried to be vague and not power-play...having History together would be okay, right? xD)
