Intoxication (the band)

Shane: I laughed. "Well then. Maybe you should give me lessons on how to talk more, and I should give you lessons on how to talk less?" I joked.

Annika: I laughed. "Good idea."

Shane: I laughed. "Alright. You start. What should I start to talk about when I'm talking to people?"

Annika: "The first thing that pops into your head. Oh hey, nice haircut or where'd you get that shirt?Even if the shirt is ugly and the haircut isn't all that great, either. Or ask about a class you have together, or...." I shrugged.

Shane: I laughed. "I asked for lessons on how to talk, not how to be fake. I don't want to be fake about stuff..."

Annika: I shrugged. "Most people are fake when they talk."

Shane: I frowned. "Well, I don't wanna be fake when I talk..."

Annika: "Then good luck talking." I patted his shoulder, pitying for a second.

Shane: I laughed. "I'll figure something out." I sighed. "Is that seriously all it is?"

Annika: I nodded. "Now, your turn. Help me quit talking so much."

Shane: "Stare at the wall."

Annika: I frowned. "But that's boring."

Shane: "Stare at the wall, Annika."

Annika: "Fine," I grumbled and stared at the wall.

Shane: "Keep staring. Don't say anything."

Annika: I bit my lip and didn't say a word.

Shane: "Good...you're doing really well..."

Annika: I wondered when I could talk again.

Shane: "Talk through your actions now." I grinned. This should be fun.

Annika: I turned around and rolled my eyes at him. Was that an action enough to say this was stupid?

Shane: I laughed. "You're annoyed. Yes or no?"

Annika: I nodded -- yes.

Shane: I laughed. "You know you can talk without speaking, right? This is how you do it."

Annika: I wrinkled my nose -- I didn't like it.

Shane: I checked my phone. "Look. You didn't talk for five minutes. How's that feel?"
