Slumber Party!

((Yeah, but they're not using their powers or anything. Plus, Sarah and Nike are completely human. Leslie isn't, but she's making it appear as though she is.))

Sarah
Leslie put the timer back on as Marissia resumed her drinking.
"Come on, you can do it!" I urged Marissia, trying to keep from giggling.

(Exactly. The non-human people are mostly acting human...except for Riddle drinking formaldehyde, but there was an explanation for it.)

Marissia: I groaned and finished half of the fourth glass. "Ugh..."

Sarah
"You're nearly half-way there!" Leslie laughed. "You can do it!"

((GOGOGOGO! ))

(haha.)

Marissia: I sighed and finished that cup. Then I somehow managed to get number five down. "Halfway," I moaned. "How long has it been?"

Sarah
"It's been ((however long it takes to down that many cups of lemonade))!" Leslie reported.
"Keep at it!" I urged with a grin.

(lol.)

Marissia: "I'm gonna throw up..." I complained, slowly drinking cup six.

Sarah
"I'd still pick this over having to tell someone you love them!" I said. "Ah, sweet vengeance."

Marissia: I groaned. "It's not like he's called back..."

(Should he call back now?)

(okay.)

Paul: I called the number back now that I'd had a shower and was kinda awake.

Marissia: I started on glass seven.

Sarah
The phone started ringing.
"I bet it's him," Nike said with a small smile. Nike never really talked very much...
"You'd better not have jynxed it, Marissia!" I complained. "...Should I pick it up?" I asked with dread.

Marissia: I shrugged. "Sure?" Back to cup seven.

Paul: I waited...

Sarah
Gulping, I picked up the phone.
Please don't be who I think it is... I begged in my mind.
"Hello?" I asked.

Paul: "Hey babe."

Marissia: I started glass number eight.

Marley
"Chug! Be a woman!" I encouraged Marissia, "DO IT FOR ALL THE FEMINISTS THAT GAVE US THE RIGHT TO VOTE!"

Marissia: I glanced at Marley, smirked, and downed glass number eight as quickly as I could.

Sarah
My heart dropped into my stomach.
"Ah, hey," I answered, trying to keep my voice steady.

((This Paul...what is he like? ))

(Paul is actually a rock-star in a band. He plays back-up guitar. He's pretty chill and likes to meet people usually and can be a flirt when he wants to be.)

Paul: "What's your name, babe?"

Marissia: I snickered and almost choked on my lemonade.

Sarah
If I had been drinking something, I would've promptly spit it out.
"Sarah," I told him.

Paul: "Alright," I said. "Nonsense is over. Why did you call me?"

Marissia: I finished glass eight and very carefully started glass nine.

Sarah
"To be perfectly honest, Marissia put me up to it," I answered, all traces of uneasiness vanishing. "It was a dare...heh."

Marissia: I spit my drink out. "Hey!" I complained.

Paul: I laughed. "I thought so. So, you don't really love me?"

Sarah
"Well, I don't really know you," I told him. "No offense or anything..."

Paul: I laughed. "It's cool. I'm sure you're busy right now, so...can I call you some other time?"

Marissia: There was no way I was finishing glass nine now.

Sarah
"Um, sure," I told him. "That's fine." Not really. Come the end of my "break," I'd be long gone in another universe. But I couldn't just tell him no; that would be rude. "So, uh, talk to you later, then."
