Re: Daggerhorn..
James: I sighed and stood, my bones cracking as I did. I groaned and streached, then laid on the ground beside her bed and closed my eyes, letting myself get some rest. My hand was holding tight to hers, keeping track of her pulse.

James: I frowned and grabbed another leaf and stuck it on her tongue and sat beside her watching her. "What would you like me to do? I can't let you walk around in this condition."

Re: Daggerhorn..
Artemis blinked, wait, he was actually agreeing to it? "yes?" she responded, confused. Of course she wanted to be free of them, and the life of a gypsie seemed wonderful. But why was he being so kind to her?

Re: Daggerhorn..
James: I raised a brow and stood going to the door. "Ben!" I called out and a young boy came running to the tent. In French I told him to run to her parent's house and tell her what happened, and that she had passed. Ben looked at Artemis and smiled widely then ran off.

Re: Daggerhorn..
James: I looked back at her. "For what?" I asked as I sat back on the stool I had been on last night. Mother came bustling in with a plate of food for them both to eat. "thank you, Mother." I said and watched her bustle back out muttering something about smoke getting to the wash.

Re: Daggerhorn..
James: I set the food aside and chuckled. "No, we're just travelers that can't stay in one place to long. We're restless. The call of adventure and intrugue is so strong that we can't be bound to a plow."
