Re: Daggerhorn..
Artemis gave a delighted laugh as he twirled her about, her dark hair falling out of it's restraints and flying free around her. Her parents were so going to kill her

Re: Daggerhorn..
Adam: I came down to see what was the big deal with this gypsy fair. I came down and saw a girl dancing with a gypsy and I spat on the floor.
Re: Daggerhorn..
Artemis stopped short, her eyes wide as the spit hit the hem of her dress. Horror and dread filled her face as she looked up to to spot the source as a family aquiantence. Oh. No. She was in for it now

Re: Daggerhorn..
James: I stopped and looked at the man infront of me. "That wasn't very gentlemanly of you." I said, my eyes suddenly hard, my voice cold and sharp. I hated men treating women like that. My voice was colored with an accent the developed while traveling with the gypsies. It was a mix of everything.

Re: Daggerhorn..
Artemis slipped out of his arms bu it was too late, the damage was done. In a few hours her parents would be so full of shame she'd be confine to her room. Her honor would be questioned and she would be the gossip focal point for many years too come.

Re: Daggerhorn..
James: I watched her carefully and then looked at the man. "I suggest you leave, before anything worse happens. Men around this camp don't take to kindly to disrespect." It was true, all the eyes of the other gypsy men were glued to this one man infront of me. All of their eyes were hard, the music had stopped, and everything was dead silent.

No? Artemis sighed, no point in lying, the village was small enough "yes" she croaked

Re: Daggerhorn..
Adam: I looked at him. "Where is my sister?" I asked calmly.
Megan: I ran up to Adam. "What did you do?!?! What did he do?" I asked the gypsy.
Megan: I ran up to Adam. "What did you do?!?! What did he do?" I asked the gypsy.
Re: Daggerhorn..
Artemis let her hair fall and cover her face, trying to remain unnoticed as her gut filled with apprehension

Re: Daggerhorn..
Megan: I looked at Adam with fire in my eyes. "Leave... now Adam." I said hard and cold.
Adam: I turned in shock and left.
Adam: I turned in shock and left.
Re: Daggerhorn..
James: "Just a small matter of disrespect." I looked at his sister. I then turned, tossing an apologetic look at Artemis. The old portlly man came bustling out.
"James! You are suppose to be at the tent by the river!"
"I was showing the new comers around father."
"That's nice. Now go. You are suppose to be doing the burning body."
"Yes father." There was no hint of defeat in my voice, no hint of anything. I was actually slightly excited. I walked off towards the river camp, leaving the three behind. Not even looking back. Or at least..not that they could see. I couldn't help steal one last glance at Artemis.

Re: Daggerhorn..
Megan: I sighed and looked at the girl. "Im sorry for him. And that gyspy has a thing for you." I said with a laugh.
Re: Daggerhorn..
Artemis stared after James's rereating form, barely hearin the girls words " don't be silly" she mumbled, regreatfully turning back to the village " you know the rules- gypsies are at the bottom, assiation with them above sales results in disowning..." she was so dead. She picked up her pace, hoping to make there first and keep the damage to her social standings at a minimum

Re: Daggerhorn..
James: I stood on the stage, my shirt off and to the side as I began twirling batons with both ends lighted on fire. I tossed them into the air, catching them, juggling them. My mind wasn't all there though. It was stuck on that girl. Stupid girls.

Re: Daggerhorn..
There was a loud gasp and someone screamed. "HE'S ON FIRE!"
James: I smiled, my body being licked by flames, yet unharmed. I took a drink from a bottle, holding the liquid in my mouth, then held up the baton and blew the liquid at it and towards the air, making it fan out like a beautiful flower.
