Daggerhorn..

James let himself sink lower onto her until his body was pressed to hers. "You sure?" He asked as he kissed her neck.

Henry looked at Megan. "Are you cold?"

Sam smiled widely. "My brother is a firebreather you know."

Sariah looked up at him and shrugged. "I guess whatever you want to do. I don't have any preferance."

Megan turned and felt shocked to see him there. She nodded and sighed. "Yes..."

Sure about what? oh. Understanding flowed through her and she stiffened. Her parents would kill her. To give herself away before marriage? The town would have the right to stone her to death for it.
But then again, she was free of them... Gosh, she just wasn't sure.
His wonderful touch filled her mind, making her thoughts fuzzy

Josie smiled widely, "Really?" she thought for a moment. "Can we go find somewhere to climb up and watch everything?" She loved being up high.

Lark smiled slightly and kissed her, "Well I don't have any ideas."

James, noticing the conflict on her face rolled to the side and sighed, and resumed just holding her. He could live with that...perhaps.

Henry put an arm around her, wrapping his jacket round her. "How's that?"

Sam shook his head. "No. You'll bust open your wounds and I don't want to take you back all bloody."

Sariah blushed and kissed him back, her hands brushing under his shirt, but she pulled them back quickly and blushed even more. "Maybe you could tell me more about how you were found."

Megans heart was racing. "Better." She said looking into his eyes.

Josie frowned and crossed her arms, never mind that the wounds already really hurt, she didn't think that would happen. "They won't! Please Sam..." She gave him a begging look.

Lark smiled at her and let his arm lower to her mid-back. "I was found on the edge of the woods, Josie's father was hunting or something and saw me stumbling along. I was close to starving, but to him I was only a stranger. He brought me back to the village, not to gently I might add, and took me before the elders and asked what he should do. Master Johns heard about it and offered to take me in. Josie's father argued against taking a strange boy in but everyone else thought it was a good idea. He hated me ever since."

"I'm sorry" Artemis whispered, heat filling her face

Sam shook his head. "No Josie. I'm not going to let you." He said looking determined.

James smiled and kissed her head and chuckled. "It's alright. I understand."

Sariah blushed slighly as his hand moved, but she didn't do anything about it. She just let it happen. "Why? I don't understand why he would hate you."

Henry smiled down at her and held her close, chuckling slightly.

"Please...." she begged.

Lark smiled as she didn't stop him, "He hates all outsiders." He pulled her closer.

Megan smiled and laid her head down on his chest. He smelled of the woods and of dirty and she let out a sigh. Her heart was pounding on her chest.

Artemis curled into him and glance up at him through her lashes "once we're married though..." she trailed off, leaving the rest up to his imagination

James chuckled and looked down at her. "Then perhaps we should make the marriage soon." He muttered and sat up, his head spinning and his face paling slightly before resuming it's color.

Sariah frowned as she thought about it. "Well that's just ridiculous."

Sam frowned. "No." He said still determined.

Henry smiled and lifted her up and took her to one of the tents and laid her do and covered her with a blanket. "You should get some rest. It will keep you warm and give you energy to dance."

Megan Laughed and pulled him next to her and whispered "Please dont leave me."

"That would work" Artemis responded, concern filling her "you okay?"

Henry looked a little shocked, but relaxed and smiled, laying next to her. "Alright." He muttered. His skin was cold and clamy.

James nodded. "Ya, just took a lot more energy than I had expected." He gave a slight smile and then went to stand up and his face paled again and he sat back down. "Perhaps I'll just stay right here for a moment."

Artemis splayed across him, trying to take his mind off of it "this could work" she kissed his chest

Megan laid next to him and she felt warm no matter what. She smiled and looked at him. "Hi." She said with a smile.

James looked at her a little shocked but smiled, his skin rushing with electicity where she touched him. He wrapped his arms around her. "What do you mean?" He chuckled.

Henry smiled down at her. "Hello."

"I mean I could stay here, with you, forever and be perfectly content" She hugged him tighter to prove her point

Megan felt warm and nice and she said "What are you thinking?"

Henry looked down at her and sighed. "I'm trying to sort a few things out." He said as he watched her. "What are you thinking?"

James chuckled and held her close. "So could I. So could I." He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, happily content with where he was at.

Artemis smiled and closed her eyes "Were you serious when you said you wanted the ceremony soon?" Artemis asked, her tone hopeful

James looked at her. "of course."

Megan said "I keep thinking of you." She said blushing.
