The Mermaids of Crest point

Erick - I laughed, "I did that because I can!"

Aribella - I blushed as I recognized him, "You run on the beach practically every day? Right?"

Kara- I grinned slyly. "Then I guess you won't mind if I do this!" I splashed some water at him. "Because I can." I winked.

Michael- "Yeah, everyday at around noon. Why?"

Erick - I raised my eyebrows dangerously, "Oh, it's on!" I said as I splashed her once more.

Aribella - My blush deepened as I thought of all those times me and my friends sat on my deck eating lunch at noon to watch him run by...

Kara- I laughed as we began our "splash war". This had to be the most fun I've had in forever.

Michael- "You okay?" I asked, noticing her blushing. Did I say something?

Eric - I laughed, throwing my hands up, "I give!"

Aribella - "Yeah, I'm fine," I said as I ran my fingers through my hair and tried to stop my blushing.

Kara- I laughed, "Now we're even!"

Michael- "So, you live around here then?"

Erick - "I guess we are." I smiled.

Aribella - I pointed to a big soft blue house in between two slightly smaller yellow houses, "Right there."

Kara- I smiled, very pleased with myself.

Michael- "Oh, you don't live that far from my house. Mine's the white one on the end." I pointed to the newly-painted house with the tons of plants on the deck. My mom was a total garden lover when it came to nature.

Erick - I stuck my tongue out at her, "Wipe that smile of your face, young one." I teased.

Aribella - "Really?" I said as if I didn't know that already.

Kara- "What if I don't want to?" I teased back.

Michael- "Yeah, I've been there for almost a month now. My mom was promoted, so we had to move."

Erick - "I'll have to think of a way to make you."

Aribella - "That's nice," I said. I leaned back in the water. "I've lived here my whole life."

Kara- "We'll see."

Michael- "Yeah, I'm glad we moved here. There's no crowded streets or noise like in the city. It's nice and quiet here."

Erick - "I can't thing of any way to do it." I frowned playfully. "Wait. I have something." I smirked as a light rain started, slowly building up to a meduim rain. The rain was only around us, no where else.

Aribella - "Yeah, I guess so." I shrugged, "But sometimes when lots of tourists comes it's just as loud as any city."

Kara- "Very funny, Mr. Weather Man," I said sarcatically.

Michael- "Then I'll just enjoy this while it lasts."

Erick - I gave a small bow, "You're welcome, I'm here every night!"

Aribella - I laughed, "And you'll have another problem when the tourists gets here."

Kara- I laughed. "Lucky me."

Michael- "What would that be?"

Erick - "Does that mean you'll be here nightly as well?" I hint

Aribella - I smiled, "Girls will flock all over you when you run."

Kara- "I guess I could find a reason to come every night."

Michael- "Good thing I'm a fast runner," I joked.

Erick - "Just be careful," I told her, "the ocean becomes addicting."

Aribella - "Most guys would just love to have girls flock around them."

Kara- "Like how?"

Michael- "Maybe I'm not like most guys." I winked.

Erick - "I don't know. All I know is that now, if I miss one night I'm fine, but if I miss three or so in a row I start getting pains and if I don't go to the ocean and transform I pass out."

Aribella - I smiled, "Good. Because I don't hang out with most guys."

Kara- "That sounds pretty bad."

Michael- I smiled. "How many do you hang out with?"

Eric - I shrugged, "It's life, besides, I don't really mind being in the ocean. It feels like home."

Aribella - "Oh, let me see," I bit my lip and began counting. "Five."

Kara- "Yeah, I guess it does."

Michael- "That's a decent amount."

Erick - I smiled, "Some merpeople actually live in the ocean. They make it their permanent home."

Aribella - "Only two of them are human," I told him.
