The Mermaids of Crest point

Kara- "Well, I obviously can tell that I can hear over a distance, which turns out a little odd. I've heard more than my fair share of wierd conversations. But I can tell there's something else. I just have to figure out what that something else is. What can you do?"

Michael- "Okay, so how long have you been a mermaid?"

Erick - "I can create storms and I can heal. I'm the best of both worlds." he winked.

Aribella - "I figure my whole life, but I've known about it for about a month now."

Kara- I smiled again. "That's pretty cool."

Michael- I noticed an odd crescent shape on my hand. "So what do these mean?" I showed her my palm.

Erick - "Thanks," I said with a grin. "I like it because I can heal those who need it and everyone knows if I'm angry by looking outside."

Aribella - I put my hand next to his to show I had the same mark on my palm, "It's a mark, you know, so that other merpeople know you're like them."

Kara- I laughed, "Remind me not to get on your bad side then."

Michael- So interesting. "Maybe I should do research on mermaids so I know what I'm dealing with."

Aribella - I shrugged, "I kind of figured it all out by trial and error. Interesting fact: all mermaids and mermen have special powers." I smirked.

Erick - I laughed, "It's hard to get on my bad side." I told her.

Michael- Powers sounded good to me. "Cool! What can you do?"

Kara- I smiled again. I noticed a large boulder towering over the water. "Bet I can beat you to that rock."

Aribella - "I can the compatibility of two different people and I have this mysterious allure that I can turn on that makes it really hard to not like me," I say confidently.

Erick - I give her a playful smile, "Ready-Set-" I speed off yelling "GO!"

Michael- "Sounds...interesting. How long did it take for you to find your powers?"

Kara- "Hey!" I swam speedily after him. "No fair!"

Erick - "I never said I played fair!" I called back laughing.

Aribella - I shrugged, "I already knew about the compatability, I just didn't know why, and I found out about the allure when I met another mermaid that could tell powers."

Kara- "Touche!"

Michael- "Maybe that mermaid could tell me what my powers are!"

Eric - I reached the boulder a second before she did. "Ha! I win."

Aribella - I bit my lip, "She left. She's somewhere off the coast of Australia."

Kara- I slowed my speed, so I wouldn't hit the rock. "I was close though!"

Michael- "Oh." So much for that plan. "Then I guess I'm on my own for now."

Aribella - I thought about it, "Well, what do you do better than anyone else?"

Erick - I smiled, "True, but not quite there."

Michael- "Well, I run for one thing."

Kara- I playfully stuck my tongue out at him and laughed. "Maybe next time."

Erick - I grinned, "I'm glad there is going to be a next time."

Aribella - "Maybe you have speed," I suggested. "Anything else?"

Michael- I shrugged. "Not that I can think of. Maybe I'll figure it out later." No one said I had to figure out my powers all at once.

Kara- I smiled and looked back to the shore. It was kind of far off, but that wouldn't be a problem since I had a tail. "Wow! It's so beautiful." The water seemed to glow different colors as it reflected the moon and the stars. It was like a painting that moved.

Erick - I smiled, "I know, I love it, especially now since I know I don't have to worry about sharks."

Aribella - I shrugged as well, "I'm sure you will."

Kara- I looked at him. "Why's that?"

Michael- "Hmm." I decided to see if I really could swim super fast and sped off. The water split off into waves on both sides of me. I was going faster than I thought I could ever go. I slowed to a stop. "Whoa! That was awesome!" I smiled.

Aribella - I laughed as I pushed against the wave he made that was pulling me farther into the ocean. "That was so cool!"

Erick - "It's weird, but sharks hate merpeople, they just won't get near us."

Michael- "I could definitely get used to that!"

Kara- "Good to know I don't have to worry about them. Sharks are just scary. I've convinced myself they have a constant death glare," I joked.

Erick - I laughed, "Well, they can't be too scary if they're afraid of people with tails."

Aribella - "That's much more useful than practically being a matchmaker." I admit with a hint of jealousy.

Kara- "True," I replied.

Michael- "Yeah, I guess so," I smiled. "Oh, I didn't even ask you what your name is! Woops! I'm Michael."

Erick - I smirked and splashed her lightly with my tale.

Aribella - I laughed, "Aribella, and if you see me without a tale I have black hair."

Kara- I laughed as the water hit me. "Haha. What was that for?"

Michael- "Nice to meet you. You'll know who I am without a tail, cause I'm always running."
