James took a deep breath as he held her close, his chin resting ontop of her head. "I'll tell you what I told Annabelle whe she lost her child." He murmered, pausing for a moment so he could try and word everything right. "Each child is born with a spirit, a preacious spirit that is given to them by God. Some spirits, like our baby's, are to perfect to stay here with us. So they are sent, to comfort us, bless our lives, and then go back." He looked down at her. "He was a perfect spirit, Artemis. Now we must just wait for the spirit that needs us, just as much as we need them." His eyes searched her face. "You were special enough to carry a perfect spirit. That's why you can't give up. That and I don't think I could keep on living if I lost you too." He stroked her cheek gently, his eyes tight and filled with pain.

Colton began to root Lark's chest, fussing hungrily.

Henry watched her and kissed her forehead. "It's alright dear. I'm always here to talk to about whatever you want."

Lark hesitated, looking at Sariah. Finally he sighed with a smile. "Sariah, honey wake up." He shook her shoulder gently.

Artemis quivered for a moment, trying hard to accept his words "okay." she whispered, pulling him closer to her "okay"

"Hmm? Oh." Sariah said as she stirred, waking slightly. She rolled over, hearing Colton's fussing and brought him close to her and began to feed him, fighting to keep her eyes open.

James held her close, rubbing her back gently.

Lark smiled softly, "He is so," He searched for a word that fit the way he felt. "Wonderful." Wasn't the best description but it was the only word even close.

Silent tears fell down Artemis's face and she wrapped herself around him, breathing in his wonderful scent "I'm sorry" she repeated, one last time

James sighed. "Don't be sorry. Just live." He murmered as he wiped the tears from her cheeks, holding her close.

Sariah smiled and nodded. "Yes he is." She murmered. "Goodness, I don't know why I'm so tired." she said as she fought the battle with her eyes, but she was loosing dramatically.

Artemis hesitated for a moment before bringing her lips to his, kissing him tentatively

Lark chuckled, "You did just have a baby."

Sariah nodded. "True." She murmered, her eyes finally closed. Colton was now asleep. She yawned and forced her eyes open so she could look up at Lark. She was smiling widely, a slight blush coming to her cheeks. "we have a baby." she whispered as if it was some conspiritorial secret.

James kissed her back gently.

Lark laughed and gently kissed her, "I know." He whispered back in a equal tone.

Sariah smile as she kissed him back, her eyes sparkling. "We're going to need a craddle." she murmered.

Lark stood, eyes sparkling. "Ahead of you." He walked from the tent and returned a moment later with an oak cradle.

Sariah looked at it and smiled widely. "It's beautiful!" She exclaimed while keeping her voice quiet enough to keep from waking Colton. "Where did you find the time?"

Lark shrugged, his smile even bigger. "Between getting sick you did sleep alot."

Sariah blushed and smiled as she watched him. "It's beautiful Lark." she said again, her eyes trailing over the beautiful finish.

Lark smiled, "Thanks, Also look what I rigged up." He walked over to the other side of the tent and held up a big sheet. He tied one end of a rope to a pole and did the same to the other side. "It's like having two rooms." He grinned at her mischievously. "I thought Colton might want a sibling but that might not be appropriate with him right here."
