Children of the Fire

Megan sighed and turned "My boyfriend died this night last year.." She spilled with out thinking.

Bryce- "Oh, I'm sorry about that." I wasn't quite sure what to do. All I was trained to do was kill dragons, not handle other problems. But she reminded me of my sister.

Megan sighed and said "Its fine... I will surive.. I think.." She said and went to leave.

Bryce- I just watched her walk away, thinking it would be for the best that I leave her be. She needed to have some alone time, just like I did. Those dragons will pay, I thought.

Megan stopped and turned "Wait..." She said and went back to him. "Come with me?" She held out her hand.

Bryce- I paused for a moment. This girl who had just met me wanted me to walk with her? I hesitantly took her hand.

Megan smiled and walked with him. "Tell me about yourself." SHe smiled and thought might as well just talk to him. He is cute at least.. Very shallow megan.

Bryce- What an inquisitive girl. A good trait for a girl I thought. "Um let's see...well, I just moved here. My parents moved their business here recently. What about you?"

Megan sighed "Been here since I was born and I dont know my parents." She let out a sigh. She liked the way her hand felt in his.

Bryce- My jaw tightened. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't know my parents. "That's sad," I replied.

((Lets just say Colin had to leave cause his parents called his phone so he went home.))

Name: Leah
Age: 9
Gender: female
Apperance: small and fragile looking. pale with long, dark red hair. More of a navy blue color of eyes than that of Mara's.
Personality: Shy of most people, bubbly to those she knows well. Adores Mara and is always trying to tag along.
Human or Dragon: Dragon
Power: All she does is have to think about what she wants fire to do and it happens.
Bio: She was born early and when she was little Leah got sick. Since then she hasn't been allowed to do much. She hates that she's stuck inside but everyone is afraid something would happen to her.

Leah sat as far out on the deck as was allowed, waiting for Mara. Where could she be? Letting out a small sigh she leaned back on the rail and felt herself drift off to sleep.

Mara- I watched helplessly as the draong slayer's sword cutting through David's leg. I had to help him, but I also had to get home. Thinking of something quick, I flew toward David and the slayer with a roar. My wing hit the slayer by surprise and he fell to the ground. David thanked me and flew home. I looked down to find the slayer, but he was no where to be seen. Fear raced through me and I quickly flew home to safety.

Leah was sleeping against the railing, her hair trailing over the side.

Shifting back to my human form with my wings still in place, I silently landed on the deck. I saw Leah fast asleep, looking so peaceful. I'll never let any dragon slayers come at you, Leah, I thought. I went over to her and brushed Leah's hair out of her face.

Leah started awake and glanced up frightened. She let herself relax, barely awake. "Hi Mara." She whispered her eyes slipping shut again.

Mara- "Hey, sis," I replied. "What are you doing out here when you have a nice warm bed inside?"

Leah reluctantly raised her head, "Waitin' for ya." She gave Mara a sleepy smile.
