The Facility

Kyle got a smirk, "I don't like how things are run around here. So I've come to fix it. M' names Kyle Dawns. Your boss if you ever bothered to learn his name."

A sharp clatter reverberated around the room as the woman dropped the syringe. "My... my apologies," she stammered. Moira, however, looked ecstatic and slightly suspicious.

Kyle nodded, "That's better. Now, what are you doing here." He gestured towards Moira.

The woman took a small step back. "Exactly what we were told to do. Experiment on the children, see what their limits are, try to control them. Isn't that what you told us to do?"

Kyle rolled his eyes, "I can see that much. And yes, you are to do that." He gestured at Moira again. "What have you done so far with her? What have you learned?" He sighed, this women WA annoying. He fingered a small dagger stuck in his belt. He really hated annoying people.....

The woman adjusted her glasses, obviously back in her element. "Well, liquid amsconium, the gold substance, has proved very effective in enhancing her powers over plants and the earth, and also in controlling her. We didn't give her a very large dose before, which is why she was able to fight it. This time, however," she said, smiling slightly. "With the touch of a button, she'll be completely ours to control. We can then use to get to the other children. The best part is that she won't even know it."

Kyle nodded thoughtfully, still fingerings the dagger. "Are you positive it works?" He pulled the dagger out and started spinning it in his hand.

Kylia shook her head and took a deep breath, trying to push the screams down. "This is how it goes. Every time." She said, her eyes closed, trying to keep from drowning in the pain again.

"Well, you yourself saw how potent the effects of the small dose were on the girl," said the woman, eyeing the dagger uneasily. "The different children will undoubtedly need different doses for the different powers, and I'm not sure about the harpie, but we can always just keep her gagged if we need to."

Kyle pursed his lips thoughtfully , "what about a non special person. How would this effect them?" He stopped spinning the dagger.

The woman shrugged and sighed inwardly. "It would cause metamorphic mutations. We tried introducing the chemical to a large freshwater pike and we ended up with a mermaid of sorts."

Kyle grinned, "Who else has been working this project with you? Any partners?"

The woman nodded to her two companions. "Dr. Simmons and Dr. Chalet. We three are the project supervisors, under yourself, of course."

Kyle smirked further, "Well, (insert womens name here) I really don't like you." He gestured towards her with the dagger. "I think these two can show me the effects of the experiments on you."

(he wants them to inject her with the stuff.)

"B-but..." the woman stammered as the two men, looking shocked, dragged her to a table not ten feet from Moira. Strapping her down, one of them picked up a syringe dripping with the gold liquid and inserted it into the woman's arm. A piercing scream echoed through the room as the woman began writhing on the table.

Kyle watched with his usual smirk, this was interesting.....

Moira turned her head, afraid she was going to be sick. The screams died down to a painful panting and she tilted her head back slightly. Dr. Livingstone seemed to have sprouted another arm, a pair of horns, and several large bulbous purpley... things on her skin. Biting her lip, Moira thought she was going to vomit.

Kyle frowned, "Not the mutations I was hoping for." He turned away waving a hand at Dr. Simmons and Dr. Chalet. "Do whatever you wish with her."

The men nodded and picked up the former Dr. Livingstone, disappearing down the hall where they took the... failed experiments. Moira, this time, was trying to get her head low enough to get the IV out of her arm with her teeth.

Kyle took one last look at her and exited the room. At least for now.....(*creepy music time....*))

"RrrARGH!" Moira shouted in exasperation, still trying to wriggle out of the bonds. Surely someone noticed she was gone, that she'd been acting funny. Someone would come for her, they had to. In the meantime... Leaning over, she spit on the cuff of her right hand and started pulling again.

Kyle went to have a nice, cold..*drum roll* Coke.

*crack, gulp, gulp, gulp* Ahhh... I live in the land of Coke, you know.

With a small pop, Moira's right hand slipped free. She pulled out the IV from her arm and, feeling slightly dizzy, went to work on her left wrist.

Kyle sighed and started back towards the lab with his coke, he was bored.
