The Facility

I'm bored so, here we go.

There is a facility out in some frozen, unnamed mountains for children. Most who end up here are rich kids, who have tried to commit suicide. The special thing about these kids is that they all have some kind of ablility that has driven them to this state. The kids are sent here to be kept from the public, there parents ashamed of having such children. Here they are taught to hate the outside world. They aren't watched to closely because there is no escape. They are miles from civilization and would die within minutes of the freezing weather.

Name: Kalya
Age:16
Appearance:
Ability: Can talk to spirits, astro-project, hears everyone's thoughts and can't block them out. Has telekinesis
why they're here: A ghost told her she should jump of a bridge and she tried, sister stopping her last minute.
Personality: Quiet, constantly angry, likely to snap at you for nothing. She's kind but its hard to find the kind, sweet girl behind all the ghosts forcing their personalities on her.

Name: Moira Wilkinson
Age: 17
Appearance: Long white-blond hair, large sad blue eyes, very pale, medium height, slightly pointed ears (but not drastically, very minimal)
Ability: Has a strange connection with nature, can control plants and just about anything natural.
Why they're here: Lost control of her powers and almost hung herself with a grape vine.
Personality: Reserved, slow to anger, very calm and protective, a good leader.

Name: Fletcher Thompson
Age: 17
Appearance: Long, darkish sandy hair, almond-shaped green eyes, Mediterranean skin tone, tall, a bit gangly, broad-shouldered.
Ability: Has a talent and obsession with sharp objects, especially knives. Think Mutt from Indiana Jones and the kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Why they're here: Slashed his wrists, but was rushed to the emergency room.
Personality: Carefree, quick-tempered, loudish, sarcastic, you get the idea.

Name: Cole
Age: 15
Appearance: Dark raven colored hair, brown eyes that seem to have a ring of black around the edges. His hair is a little shaggy but cut in a neat, stylish fashion, seems kinda dangerous when you first look at him.
Ability: Can talk to fire, hears the voices. Make flames appear in his bare hands and control them. Can't be burnt
why they're here: Beat since he was little to try to keep him form speaking to the fire. The flames told him not to take it anymore and he started the house on fire when no one was home. a neighbor saw and dragged him out.
Personality: Mysterious, shy, depressing. Impulsive and daring.

Personality: She has a very sparatic personality that usually is quite excentric. She has a very kind heart though and is a sucker for heart throb stories. It's easy to make her cry, but it is also just as easy to make her laugh. All in all she's just weird.

Ability: She's actually a harpie.. ((if that's ok))

Why she's there: She tried to kill her step dad

Kalya sat in the corner of her room, the door was open but she didn't care. The voices were screaming, they told her not to jump while Amy was there. She was spose to wait. Just wait till she left. Kalya's hands shot to her head as they screamed louder. She didn't know how long she'd been in this place but they were still mad about it. ( a year)
Dumb dumb girl, why cant you listen. You'll never do anything right.
"Shut-up!!" she finally screamed and windows all the way down the hall cracked, objects flying around.

Cole sighed, Kalya was at it again. He side-stepped a book flying through the air and sat on his bed to wait it out.

Jess was walking down the hall, his hands deep in his pockets, his eyes slightly distant. He dodged a flying vase as it came at his head, almost as if that kind of thing was normal.

Kylia was laying on her bed, her legs crossed and resting against the wall.

"GO AWAY!" Kalya screamed both at the ghosts and at Cole as he appeared in the door.
"I would sis, but I kinda want some shut eye, and I can't get none with all this racket."
She glared at him and the door slammed shut inches from his face.
"oo, touchy." he said and went back to his room, dodging more flying objects.

Jess chuckled as he watched, increasing the light in Kayla's room to chase away the ghosts as he walked past.

Kylia poked her head out, curious as to what was going on.

Kalya rubbed her temples, objects settling down. The ghosts left but she could still hear all their thoughts those annoying, irritating..
Can you think any quieter?! she asked Cole. He just laughed and continued flipping a flame between his fingers.
Kalya stumbled from the room.
"Thanks Jess."

"Sure thing." Jess said as he turned into his room, the shadows seeming to follow him.

Kylia slipped out of her room wearing short shorts and a tank top, not really feeling the cold. She decided she'd best get her daily walk in and started down the hall.

Kalya tried to push the thoughts away and stumbled down the hall.

Kylia passed Cole's room, her wings hidden, as always. People usually got freaked out by her wings. They were a black-ish grey color that always gave her a dark, yet frighteningly beautiful look.
