Daggerhorn..

James finally forced himself to get up and out of the cot and began to walk around, looking for Artemis though his chest was achey.

Sariah smiled and kisses his chest, her fingers tracing small patterns across it.

gto be back in....ten, maybe fifteen.

Lark smiled and kissed the top of her head.

Artemis jolted awake, her stomach clenching and emptying out its contents. She scowled and wiped off her mouth. This had been happening more and more often lately. she knew what it may mean, but she tried her best to ignore it for now. She didn't want to get her hopes up. Which meant she certainly couldn't tell james. She fixed herself and set off out of the stall

James continued to look for her, black spots starting to appear in his vision as he made it to the horse barn. "Artemis?" he called out.

Artemis heard her name and went running to the source "james!" she exclaimed, wrapping an arm to support him "what are you doing up!"

James wrapped his arms around her and held her close. "I just wanted to make sure you were alright."

Artemis led him back over to his cot, tucking him in snuggling before settling in next to him "fine" she replied, kissing his forehead "all your chores are done for the day,so you can stop worrying and rest " she demanded

James sighed and held her close, his eyes threatening to close. "Yes, dear." he muttered.

Artemis grinned and snuggled closer "sleep, love. you need to get better.. for the ba-" her words caught in her throat "for us"

"Yes, dear." He said again, though his voice was thick with sleep as he finally fell asleep.

Sariah smiled contentedly and went back to tracing patterns on his chest.

Artemis kissed his chest, staring at his sleeping face for a moment before falling asleep herself.

Lark signed happily and closed his eyes.

Sariah watched him and slipped ontop of him, kissing him gently.

James woke a little while later to blurry images and sounds, only to fall back asleep, his arm tightening around Artemis.

Lark chuckled and kissed her back.

Sariah blushed but smiled and kissed him. "You're my favorite, just so you know."

Lark grinned playfully, "You're favorite husband?" He gave her a short kiss.

Sariah shook her head. "My favorite person. I only have one husband, but I guess even then you're still my favorite husband as well." she said with a smile.

Lark grinned and gave her a longer, deeper kiss. "Good. Cause I don't think I could share you with another husband."

Sariah smiled as she kissed him back. "I don't want another husband, mine's to perfect." she said with a soft laugh. "Although, I don't think he would be to happy to find you in his bed." She said with a wink.

Artemis stirred, the morning sun waking her from her slumber. She propped her chin up and occupied herself by gazing at James's sleeping face

James stirred, taking a deep breath. He winced as it hurt a little. He blinked his eyes open, letting his breath out with a small groan. "What time is it?"

"dawn, I was just about to go do your chores. Sleep, it's still early morn" she kissed his cheeks and slid out of the cot

James grabbed her by the hand and pulled her back to the cot. "Someone else can take care of them today." he said with a small smile.

Artemis watch him for a moment then consented, happily slipping in besides him "how are you feeling?"

James smiled and pulled her close as he held to her tightly. "Better than yesterday."
