Artemis sighed as well and nodded "as long as no one goes to hunt you" she grimaced at the thought

James watched her and gave her a small smile and shrugged. "I'm sure I'll be fine. I'll just try to stay around the tent and you and the baby. If people get suspicious..you can say you got a new pet." he said and winked.

Artemis chuckled gingerly massaging her stomach "alright, sounds good to me" she closed her eyes, her pale skin shimmering in the sunlight. "sun feels nice"

James nodded and watched her carefully, his eyes filled with love. He kissed her gently and held her close.

Artemis smiled and held him to her "what are we going to do, James?"

"what do you mean?" James asked as he looked down at her.

Artemis fell silent "what if I lose this one too" she choked

James watched her. "then we can try again, or we can adopt."

"maybe I'm just not meant to be a mother, maybe it's a sign" she buried herself deeper into him, her hands cradling th small bump

James sighed and held her close, craddling her. "Don't talk like that. It's going to be alright. We haven't lost this one, it's going to be alright."

Artemis swallowed hard and forced herself up out of his arm, sniffling "we should go pack..."

Lark walked back yo the tent searching for Sariah, again. How did he lose track of her so easily?

James watched her for a moment. "We don't have to pack just yet. You need rest." he said and gently pulled her back next to him. "Just rest, alright?"

Sariah was still out front, hanging out the freshly washed bedding.

Lark walked up behind her and as usual covered her eyes with his hands.

Sariah jumped slightly and then smiled. "Oh, not you again." She laughed. "what will my husband say?"

Lark nuzzled his head against her neck, "He doesn't have to know I'm here....."

Artemis nodded slightly and fell back into his arms, her eyes threatening to close "I think it's a girl" she whispered

James smiled as he watched her, holding her close. "A girl? I'd like a little girl."

Sariah blushed and giggled. "Oh, alright. I just won't tell him." She said as she continued to pin up the wash.

"Good." Lark murmured and kissed her neck.

Sariah blushed, a shiver running down her spine. She tilted her head just enough for him to have full access to her neck, a large smile on her face. Colton was asleep in his crib.

Artemis nodded, the spring breeze blowing about her hair "me too"

Lark grinned and led a trail of kisses down her neck.

"what will you name her?" James asked curiously.

Sariah smiled, leaning back against him and closing her eyes.

Lark gave her one more kiss then pulled back teasingly. "Maybe I should let you finish the laundry......."

Sariah sighed and shrugged. "Suit yourself." she said and went back to doing the laundry. Not that she wanted to, but she could tease him just as much by not giving in.
