Daggerhorn..

Sariah took the peach and munched into it happily, though the skin on the outside made her gag. She handed it back to him after gaggin about the third time. "I'm good." She said, she wasn't sure her stomach could handle anything else after that.

Lark looked at the chewed peach skin.....ewww ......

He took the peach and smiled. Grabbing a few of the items for himself he picked her up and started towards the tents.

Sariah made him put her down. "You're gonna make me sick with all that bouncing." She muttered and instead, clung to his side as she walked with him.

Lark chuckled and walked slower so she could keep up.

Sariah took a deep breath and sighed. She thought about all the things that needed done that she hadn't done. Like the wash. Always with the wash.

Lark smiled at her, "What are you thinking about?"

"That I have lots to get caught up on. Like the wash." Sariah pouted slightly and sighed, leaning her head against him.

"I can help." Lark offered.

Sariah glanced up at him. "Oh ya. Tons of help. Every time I go to do the wash I end up without clothes." She said teasingly with a smirk.

Lark thought about it for a moment. "Is that not was is spose to happen?" He actually wounded like he meant the question.

Sariah looked up at him and smirked. "Yes, suppose to happen." She agreed.

Lark smiled, "Then what's the problem with me helping?"

"I get nothing done." Sariah laughed but smiled widely at him. "But I guess you can help if you want to."

Lark grinned, then ill help."

Sariah laughed and shook her head as they reached the tent. She then went about gathering up their laundry so she could take it to the washboard.

Lark tried to help by walking up behind her and giving her a kiss on the neck.

Sariah rolled her eyes but smiled as she picked up the laundry basket and picked up a pair of his pants and tossing them in.

Lark frowned, "What do I do with these?" He liked the losing clothes part of laundry better.....

"The basket? Well, I'll be taking them to the washboard as soon as I get all the clothes picked up." She said as she grabbed one of her dresses and tossed it in, then went to start removing the bedding.

Lark nodded and proceeded to help her gather the laundry.

Josie began to wake from the best sleep she'd had in a long time.

Sariah smiled and set the basket down, sitting down for a minute, feeling a little tired.

Sam was asleep, his arms tightening around her.

"You okay?" Lark asked worried.

Josie opened her eyes and smiled at him. She couldn't regret what they'd just done. She loved him.

Sariah looked at him and nodded with a small smile. "Just a little tired is all."
Sam stirred as he began to wake up, yawning and holding her closer.
