The Spirits (An Indian Chat)

Tatlo smiled and looked back at the view.

Ama smiled and looked at the view. The wind picked up and went through her hair as Ama watched her.

Tatlo smiled as she felt the wind blow through her hair. It gave her a calm feeling, like an invisible being was giving her a friendly hug.

Ama smiled and sat down. "I come here when I need to think or be alone. Nature has gave us spots like these to hep us."

Tatlo sat next to him and wrapped her arms around her knees, bringing them to her chest. "I can understand why. I could sit here forever, just looking at the view."

Ama nodded and sighed. He laid down and looked up at the pale blue sky.

Tatlo rested her chin on her kness and shut her eyes, thinking about her tribe and how much she missed everyone.

Absolokaa pulled her closer. He deepened the kiss.

Moheo felt something with Absolokaa then. Was it the spirit of the water telling her that he was the right choice for her? Moheo pulled back and bit her lip.

"What tribe where you from?" Ama asked.

Tatlo look at him. "The Souix tribe," she answered.

Ama looked at her in shock. "Really?"

Tatlo blinked. "Yes, why?"

Ama smiled "I went to your tribe when I was younge."

Honon walked along the river and ran his hand through his hair. He kicked at a rock. His jaw was clenched and he kept thinking about the kiss.

"Really?" Tatlo replied. "I didn't even realize that. How long ago was this?"

Moheo shook her hand and gave him a smile. "I must go..." SHe said and sent him on his way. She turned and went back to Honon. "Why are you angery?"

Ama nodded and thought "About 2 years ago. Myu father went to talk to the chief about trade."

Tatlo thought for a moment. "I think I remember that. My mother wouldn't let me go near the negotiations though. She always thought I was too curious for my own good. I was stuck in my tent the whole time." She smiled. "I remember it got really hot that day your tribe came."

"Yes it was... I remeber you." AMa said with a smile.

Tatlo smiled. "I would've remembered you if people didn't keep blocking my view." She giggled.

Absolokaa nodded and left.

Honon smiled and looked at her. "I'm just a bit angry with myself, but mainly I am thinking."

Ama laughed. "Dont worry."

Moheo looked at him curiously. "WHy are you mad?"

"I'm not worried," Tatlo replied with a smile.

Honon sighed. "Because I gave in to kissing you. I shouldn't have done that. You have a betrothed."

"I do not care about that." Moheo whispered softly.

Ama laughed softly.

Tatlo smiled. She watched an eagle fly right above the tree tops.
