James shook his head and his voice became firm. "You'll stay till you've recovered. Do you have any idea the pain you've put me through?" His face hardend.

Artemis's eyes flashed "pain, why would you be feeling any pain on my behalf. Let me go" she demanded, her voice still weak, making an amusing contrast to her fiery temper at the moment

James shook his head and kept firm. "You're my friend and alpha. The whole pack loves you. I...." He couldn't bring himself to say it.

Artemis froze "I am your.. friend?" she blinked, having a hard time taking in his words

James felt himself relax a little more. "Why are you doing this? You're the alpha female for heavens sake! Do you have any idea how worried I was? How worried the pack was?"

Kendra: I let out a small yell at the unexpected water attack, jumping back and laughing a bit. "You really wanna go there?" i asked playfully. I kicked the water a little, splashing him back.

James nodded. "Why do you think I've been protective lately? I asked Raphael myself If I could be partnered with you. I could've easily left you behind when we were kidnapped, but I didn't."

Raphael jumped back and got in a low crouch, his tail wagging. He lunged into the water, sending a lot of water splashing at her.

Artemis blinked, friend? huh. "Still.. I must get back to work" she sighed, sitting up and sliding her legs over the side of the bed, ignoring the dark spots in her vision

Kendra: I yelped a little as i was suddenly drenched. "Oh, SO not fair." i protested, but i was grinning. There was no way i could send that much water back at him, but it was okay. He won this round. I would just have to get more creative next time.

Raphael went down on his knees and laid on his stomach in the water, enjoying the coolness. He gave her a smile.

James shook his head. "I insist either let me follow you around, or stay in this bed." He frowned, not liking the idea of her getting up just yet.

Kendra: I smiled back, settling on the bank of the stream and pulling my soaking hair over my shoulder, wringing out as much of the water as i could, fixing it so that it at least looked respectable. Id have to wait until i got back to my room to really fix it or dry off at all. But i didnt mind - it was good for me to get out and relax like this, and i was having a good time.

Artemis stared at him for a moment, debating whether not not he was serious "where is raphel?" she finally asked

Not by any means. They're very annoying...though I don't hear teens with accents much because I live in military housing and everyone around that is around us are not English.

James frowned. "Out running with his new girl friend." James made a face, still not use to the fact Raphael was with a vampire.

Raphael rolled in the water and continued to do anything he could to splash at her, inviting her to come in.

Kendra: Grah! More splashing! But i took the hint. Hey, i was already soaked anyways. "Fine." i said, smiling. I yanked off my boots, not wanting to completely wreck them, shoved my socks inside and waded into the stream a bit.

Raphael gave a playful growl, drops of water sliding on his sleek black fur as he stood. He got into a crouch and his muscled tightend as he prepared to lunge at her.

Artemis frowned, swaying slightly as she stood. "The vampire, you mean?"

Kendra: Okay, yeah, i was getting the distinct feeling i was about to be lunged at. No way id be able to dodge until he moved, so i just braced myself and hoped i didnt get too wet. Well... okay, the last part.... i was already soaked. And i had a feeling i was only going to get more soaked.
