Moonlight Dance Club/ hotel

Kendra: I watched cautiously from a distance. Id been right - major tension here. If id had a blade with me.... i would be able to cut the tension in the air. I was sure of it.

Rapheal growld. "It's your responsibilty." He stood his ground as well, not going to back down. This was one of their pack mates they were talking about, and his best friend.

"only because you forced him on me. besides, something tell me he wouldn't leave my side even if you ordered it. enough is enough, leave me be"
she winced, inadvertently thinking about her past

Rapheal shook his head. "I'll tell him to back off. He will, and he's your responsibilty anyway, the whole pack is our responsibilty." He stayed standing stiffly.

Artemis snorted, turning her back to him "now it's our responsibility? how convenient"

James growled and took a step towards her. "If someone would've been around maybe they could've been in the choices. The elders made that choice as well. You know how much I value their choices. Are you really going to turn you back on a pack memeber that loves you?"

Artemis stiffened, his words ringing an odd bell in the back of her mind.

he was right, she knew he was.
Once again this was more proof she was not fit to be alpha.
She struggled, trying to bring herself to find words to amend the situation but kept coming up short.
She slumped, remaining silent as her tail drooped between her legs

Rapheal lowered to his knees and petted her head. He knew how she felt. "Has James told you the story of the time we were kidnapped?" He heard a few growls from the pack as they remembered the events to.

Artemis blinked, trying to recall but couldn't. She had fought hard to forget about him. why she did not know though. "no?"

Rapheal smiled. "Lets just say me and him we're scared out of our wits. I was young, your age when we were abducted. Once things got real bad, he stood up and took charge and got us out of there, though after a few events he hid from me for a while. I hid from him as well, ashamed I hadn't been strong enough to handle everything. From that day forward I worked on my courage and trained harder. Of course I've made mistakes in my life, but I learn from those. You'll go through the same thing. Now please go after him? He's my best friend."

Artemis sighed, shifting back and hiding behind her hair "fine" she consented, dreaded the prospect

Rapheal hugged her. "You're a sister to me Artemis. There's no shame in asking for help. I've learned that the hard way. Just tell him I've asked that he returned. I'm warning you though, since he's a loner me nor you have power over him. Just try to be persuasive."

Artemis held back a grumble, setting off after his scent.
well this was going to be... interesting...
She shifted back, nose to the ground as she made her way toward him, soon locating his mind

James layed next to his fresh kill, a young boar. His coat was madded in blood showing the effects of the fight. James wolf was at the surface, having found the emotions to difficult.

Artemis reached out tentatively, touching her mind with his "..you, you okay?"

Kendra: I smiled a bit, glad that Raphael had been able to remedy the situation. It was one of the things i liked about him - he was good at controlling bad situations and diffusing them. "Well, that could've gone worse." i remarked.

Raphael nodded and gave orders for everyone to continue. "It could've but didn't. I've learned to go with instincts in sticky situations."

James's head shot up and his human side came back to the fore front of his mind. He jumped up and crouched growling. "Who's there?" He tentavily touched her mind.

Kendra: I nodded. "Good thing, too. I wasn worried that heads might start rolling." i said, a bit of an amused smile appearing on my face.

Artemis stopped herself from shooting up a force field and blocking him out. that would defeat the purpose. "me" she whispered, shifting back and steeping out, studying him

James's ears pinned back, turned her back on her and sat down. "What do you want?" He gave a low growl.

Rapheal laughed. "I was too." He led her back inside. "Now what do we do? I'm now bored." He made sure everyone was doing their job as they walked.

Kendra: I followed him back inside, glad things were resolved. "Ditto. And i have no ideas on the subject of killing time. I dont usually have time to kill." i said, frowning slightly as i began thinking of what to do.

"Are you okay?" artemis whispered, taking a hesitant step toward him

Astrina: I smiled happily up at him as my heart sped a little. "Maybe we really will have to hang out after tonight, because I haven't had this much fun ever." Smiling still a thought crossed my mind that almost made me stop dancing, catching myself I kept moving keeping the surprise from my face. If he kissed me right now I wouldn't mind. That was the thought. It scared me.
