The Hunted

Hiro: I smirked. "Being scared to death."

Amie: "Stop," I said, stepping out of the shadows. "You're too easy to find. You're going to alert every base in a mile radius."

Serena: To Damien I saide "Ah, the peacemaker in the flesh. Nice talking face to face instead of mind to mind, isn't it?
I looked down at Hiro, smirked, and said sarcastically "By me? Why thank you."

Jasmine - Wow, everyone is coming over here, I grin.

Damien - "I've been saying that to every one since I got here!" I said, "Finally someone agrees!" then I turn to Serena, "Yeah, face to face is much more refreshing."

Hiro: I rolled my eyes. "You know, your kind scare me all the time."

Serena: I said to Damien "For you it is, I'm sure. Quit unnerving to talk to someone you can't see?" I laughed bitterly.
Then to Hiro I said "We tend to scare people we aren't fond of."

Hiro: I laughed. "You should be fond of me. I'm the only one in this world who knows your secret."

Serena: I blinked a couple of times at Hiro in confusion. what are you talking about?

Hiro: "I don't think I'm going crazy when you use telepathy on me. I know you're a Mythical."

Serena: I rolled my eyes. "Oh, that. Well, everyone standing here knows about that." I tilted my head in turn to each person in the little half-circle we were standing in.

Hiro: "Everyone here is a Mythical except for me."

Serena: "Oh really? And what would you call yourself? Human? You hardly act like one."

Jasmine - I laughed at Hiro, not actually AT him but at what he said. "Oh and by the way Serena, you don't seem solitary." "Hiro, your mind isn't a human one, so i will never consider you human."

Damien - So, she wanted the telepath, "Jasmine, if she doesn't want to tag along we're fine by ourselves," I said. Jasmine pouted, "But it's annoying when it's just me and you." I froze and made a gesture for everyone to get on alert, I smelled a Hunter.

Serena:"I'm not solitary in what way?" I asked Jasmine.

Jasmine - "Well, you seem to get along with people, so why not travel with us?"

Hiro: I sighed. "I'm more human than any of you."

(Idea: He's an experiment that the Bases tried to make him into a Mythical and he ran away.)

Serena:"I actually don't get along with people at all, which is something you'd learn if you were around me enough."
To Hiro I said "I wouldn't be so sure."

Jasmine - I decide to use another argument, "Damien practically hates people, mythical or otherwise, and he travels with me. All of us should travel together.

Damien - Someone from the base is near us! "We have GOT to get outta here!"

Serena:"Damien and I might have more in common than I expected, then." I side-glanced at him.

Hiro: "Yeah, well I'm pretty sure you've never heard my kind of story."

Amie: I sighed. "Told you."

Serena:You won't know for sure unless you try me I sent to Hiro, in case he didn't want everybody to hear.

Hiro: "They want me because I'm different. They just want you dead. Is that enough?"

Jasmine - I looked at Hiro "They want to use you," I cry a little bit silently, I hate violence and injustice. Sometimes I wish I didn't have my ability to know everything about a person. what they did to him was more horrible than anything I could imagine.

Damien - I sighed, does no one hear me???

Serena: I rolled my eyes. "So you're trying to say you're better than the rest of us? That you're the only one who's 'different'? Listen to other peoples' stories sometimes, and you'll be surprised just how interesting each and every one of our lives can be." I pulled up my hood and turned to leave, sick of this crowd. "And they wonder why I don't like people."

Amie: "Um, we can do the sob story later."
Hiro: I rolled my eyes.

Serena: I slit my heavily eye-lined eyes and twist around just my neck for one last comment. "What sob story?"
