Amelia stood from her computer chair and started pacing. She ran a hand through her hair and sighed. Another long night of research on her parents’ murder got her nothing but more questions on top of the load of questions she already had. She stopped pacing and sunk into the chair again, staring blankly at the computer screen for a few moments. She turned the computer off, stood, and grabbed her keys. She left the house, deciding to go to a café not to terribly far away to get some coffee and maybe even something to eat.

James sighed as he leafed through the file of his new assignment. He had gotten a new person to protect and he wasn’t thrilled since his last assignment didn’t go to well. As it was, he was never going to live down his mistake. He paused a moment and a small frown formed on his lips when he saw the place where he would have to go. He was going to have to go to New York. He sighed, stood, and left so he could start on his way to New York.

Eli swore under his breath as he walked along the cold streets of New York. He paused a moment and kicked a can that was on the street before continuing to walk along. He ran a hand through his dark hair and stopped walking for a moment. His thoughts raced over his assignments of torture and he shook his head. He hated doing the devil’s dirty work.

Eliza walked long and pulled her jacket tighter around her. She turned on the streets she was supposed to and came to a stop when there was a brick wall. She looked around and raised an eyebrow. She was supposed to go straight and there was a wall. She shook her head and just stood there a moment

What time of the year is it?

Akira walked down the street, her head down and her hair flying all around her. Her hands were shoved in the pockets of her fluffy white jacket. Thankfully, it was well insulated. She shivered despite herself. The New York winters were completely unforgiving. Snowflurries drifted around her with every breeze and she snuggled her jacket closer to her body.

Simone sighed, sitting on the steps of a large apartment complex. She wore nothing but a t-shirt and a pair of tight fitting skinny jeans, no shoes or coat. She was passed the cold, though. She couldn't feel it. Hadn't felt it for a long time, actually. She pushed her hair back with one hand and the other stayed on her knee.

Nathaniel pursed his lips, hoping his senses would kick in. He had a quota to fill. He had already been late once and he knew the consequences weren't good. He didn't want to have a replay of that. He ran a hand up his arm and then shuddered slightly. He felt something like a twinge and followed the feeling quicky. When he got to the soul he looked down and sighed. A small, scraggly black kitten. He picked it up by the scruff and put it into his pocket. He stroked its fur gently as he walked. Hey, he may have been a demon, but animals never did anything.

Damien always questioned himself. Always. He wondered if it had been worth it to fall in love with Rhea. He wondered if it had been worth giving up his status as an angel. He felt like it almost wasn't, but he had loved Rhea more than anything... That was before she died... before he had to kill her. But he really, really didn't like to think about that.

Amelia pulled her coat tighter around her as a shiver went through her spine. She continued down the street toward the cafe knowing that once she got there there would be warmth, coffee and food. She pulled her cat tighter once more and picked up her pace. Not that much farther and then she would be there.

James arrived ion New York and walked around for a few minutes. He looked around and then looked down at the file. He now had to make sure he didn't seem like a stalker, but at the same time he had to make sure that he protected Amelia. He saw her and picked up his pace as he trailed her, head bent.

Eli continued to walk and finally paused, looking around him. he wrinkled his nose in disgust, he didn't exactly like New York. A sigh passed his lips as he continued on his way, remembering where he was supposed to go. He was supposed to take care of some girl who was being too nosy...

Penn hopped down the stone steps of the library, shoving his hands in his pockets as he started off down the sidewalk. He whistled a tune to himself, in a good mood as always, especially now that he had that big assignment done for school. If he got his schoolwork done, that meant more time to do what he liked. At least, that's what he liked to say. Really, he had nothing better to do. Sure, Penn had friends, but not the kind you could...I dunno, eat cheetos with? Not the kind he'd hang out with on a regular basis. More like people he studied and discussed Stars Wars during his free period. He'd like a cheeto-eating friend someday.

Chance shook the melting snowflakes from his hair as he stepped inside the cafe. He didn't know where the chick he was supposed to be protecting was, and he really didn't care. Lately, he'd been clubbing and charming human girls nightly. But even angels needed to rest sometimes. Or replace their rest with coffee.

Clarys skipped through the snow, bag bouncing on her back. She was fresh out of dance class, the only time of the week she felt alive. The other times she just put on an act, pretending to be jaunty like this. But now she really felt it, happiness. It was what got her through the week.

Amorelle leaned against the fence outside the school, head tilted back and tongue out. She was catching snowflakes on her tongue, savoring their delicate touch as they melted into her skin. But then the rest of the cheer leaders popped out of the building, having changed out of their practice gear finally.

"Come on, Amy, hurry up! We're meeting the guys at the cafe," Kimberly cooed, waggling her eyebrows suggestively. Amorelle laughed and shook her head, but closed her mouth and followed her friends.

Bio: Her mom died when she was born and she now lives with her drunken abusive father. She works to suport the two of them, but sometimes it isnt enough. She is somewhat underweight and wears baggy clothing to try to hide it. She puts up an act to make it seem like nothing is wrong in her life. Her father has beaten her to the point where she was close to death multiple times.

Delilah sat at a bus stop, her hoody pulled tightly around her. She didnt have enough money to feed both her and her father and get a real coat. She just prayed she didnt get sick this winter. If she did she didnt know what she would do.
She got up from the bench and walked along the sidewalk. She ran into a boy (Nathaniel) as she walked and fell down to the slushy cold ground. the grey snow splattered on the boys pants.
"Sorry," She apologized slowly, standing from the ground. Delilah was already freezing and numb from teh cold, but the later of water on her pants made her feel even more uncomfortable.

Chase walked down the street, his hands tucked into his pockets. he passed a girl (akira) and smiled to her. She looked just like her, and he didnt know if that was a good or bad thing. he turned adn walked up next to her.
"Hey, have i seen you someplace before?" he asked her, looking over to her.
