Kidnapped

Tara: "Yeah, that's really interesting," I said sarcastically. I looked around the cave. "Have you seen Autumn? Did she ditch us?" I said. It looked like our powers were working fine without her, so if she left we wouldn't be in danger.

Rose: I looked around. "Maybe she took off after me." I said.

Tara: "Maybe..." I yawned. "It's getting late, even though I'm not sure what time it is. I'm gonna get to bed. Rose, do you need help getting over to yours?" I said, referring to the 'beds' I had woven earlier.

Rose: If you could just pass me my pillow, I'll sleep here. It's kind of comfy." I said.

Tara: I laughed, "Alright," and handed her the pillow. I chose the bed in the far right corner, closest to the back of the cave. There were two on each side. "Where are you sleeping, Aiden?"

Aiden: I smiled, and took one of the beds next to her. "This one looks pretty comfy."

Rose: I leaned forward and put the pillow behind me, nestling into it and closing my eyes into a sleep I direly needed.

Tara: I rolled my eyes, but smiled. "I was so hoping to sleep near Autumn, too." I said sarcastically as I laid down.

Aiden: I put my arm around her waist and drew her close, spooning her. I smiled with closed eyes.

Tara: I closed my eyes, prepared to give him crap about that in the morning. Maybe. I drifted off to sleep...

Aiden: Good she didn't fight. Told you so. You love me. And I love you. lots. I thought, hoping she could hear my thoughts while asleep. I drifted into my own deep sleep.

Tara: Thoughts broke through my dreams, Aiden's thoughts. He loved me...that gave me butterflies. But maybe I had only been dreaming...

I woke up in the morning, and wriggled out of Aiden's arms. The fire was dead again, but Rose was asleep, I sighed.

Aiden: I felt Tara wiggle out of my arms, and I woke up. "Morning sunshine." I grinned.

Tara: "Morning," I smiled at him. I was about to mention I had heard what he was thinking last night...but maybe it had really just been me dreaming? "We're not eating fish for breakfast, are we?" I frowned, that would be nasty.

Aiden: "I actually thought I might try and catch a deer or something. Have some real meat." I grinned.

Tara: The thought nauseated me, and I laid back down, a hand over my eyes. "Please. Don't."

Aiden: "What's wrong with deer? Or fish?" I asked, worried.

Tara: "Ugh, I just don't want to eat anything with eyes. I'll find some fruit or something..." At the thought, an apple flew into my hand. I grinned.

Aiden: "Okay, no eyes. Got it." I looked toward the sleeping Rose, wondering what she liked. "I still need something for me and Rose though." I pointed out.

Tara: "Eat fish? Or do you want an apple, too?" Another one flew into my hand, and I held it out to him.

((bump?))

((Uh, hello?))

Aiden: I took the apple and bit into it. It was sweet and crunchy. "Haven't had some of these in awhile." I said, chewing the apple.

Tara: "Really? Apples are my favorite," I bit into mine. I watched Aiden. They said you could tell if someone was a good kisser by the way they ate an apple...I wondered if that was true.

Aiden: "Nope. I mostly ate oranges. Coconuts, passion fruit, mangoes. Tropical stuff." I said. The thought of a delicious mango made my mouth water.

Tara: "That just shows we come from two different worlds, er, states," I laughed. "Land-locked states don't eat tropical fruit so much. But seaside ones, like yours, do."
