The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

Alright...It always frustrated me on how there was never a dang sequal to this movie...

1900, a year later -
Thanks to their actions in preventing a World War in Europe, The League is greatly recognized by most governments of the world for their bravery and valor. They have even been given a position by the Queen of England to ensure peace among the countries of the world - though they refused to be afiliated with any one country.

Instead they live on the Nautilus and wander the seas, ready to report to any areas of conflict. However, they know that the five of them cannot hope to protect all of the world at once. They send a call out, to anyone Extraordinary, to join their voyage and protect from the forces of evil and any rogue followers of Fantom. Just in time, too, as things begin to stir up again.

***VILLAINS - you can make some villains for the league as well! They will not be used as often as the League members, however, only if they Leauge would run into them. Though we can have some villainous conferences and evil planning, random evil doing and such to contribute to the grand plot ark ***

Name: Isia
Age: looks 19
Gender: Female
Extraordinary because... Most would probably assume it is because she carries a bow she definately knows how to use with great skill but it is in reality because of the fact she is were, to be exact a were-panther.
Other: Isia is rather quiet and watchful, she normally sticks to the shadows and tends to think out her words before she speaks. She doesn't like to be noticed unless she chooses it.
Isia grew up in a backwoods community, she hasn't been to too many big cities, tends to avoid them in all honest. Her mother and father are long gone, the family that raised her being secretive and hidden from the public eye.
She is a teeny bit under normal height, say 5'1" and has a rusty brown colored hair that hands down past her shoulders to say mid back. She is rather tan, looking as if she's spent hours in the sun which she has. Normally she is dressed in a simple deer hide outfit Like this and has a handmade bow over her shoulder along with a quiver of arrows.

Gender:Female
Extraordinary because... She carries around a scythe that she is all too familiar with and has the ability to control her shadow.
Other: background, personality, likes and dislikes....etc.... Wears a black cloak that covers her body, white snowy hair. She comes from America and ended up in England after some differences with some very curious scientists. She prefers 'Cay" instead of Cain.

Name: Anne Brittany
Age: 515
Gender: F
Extraordinary because... powers of healing with her silver blood (hinthint)
Other: Anne of Brittany, thought to be married off to Kind Louis XII of France in 1495, also thought to have commissioned the making of The Unicorn Tapestries. When, in fact, the Tapestries commemorate her past. Hunted as a unicorn and imprisoned after coming back to life, her horn had been stolen away which had turned her human. She's strong willed, tamable only by girls. She is not favorable to men in the least. Very fair skinned with light golden hair, very light blue eyes, with a silvery scar on her forehead.

Name: Aeric
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Extraordinary because...he is a genius. He can solve puzzles in a few seconds, break into impenetrable places, and knows almost all kinds of self defense.
Other: He is a drifter, left home young and made his fortune through breaking into places he shouldn't be and either taking stuff to sell or finding something to hold against the person for later use. When he was sixteen he got caught, and taken in by the family. Has straightened up since then but still doesn't feel that comfortable around people who seem to care about him so he took off again.
He knows that he is smart and makes no effort to conceal his knowledge of this. Aeric can be cocky and arrogant, but doesn't joke around too often, his social skills being limited.
He tends to wear dark colored slacks and nice shirts cause he has an issue dressing down as he would call it. His hair is a raven shade of black and his eyes are a light amber color. He is slightly above height and is quite pale.

(Ral, Area 51 wasn't around in 1900 :p)


"Sir, more responses to join the League."
Finishing with writing, the radio operator handed a note over and went back to interpreting the dits and dahs of the machine, sending back his own dots and dashes.
Sawyer looked over the piece of paper as he walked to the helm of the Nautilus. They had just ported in New York for the new members America had to offer. Back to Britain, it seemed. Just a wait for the supplies and cargo to be brought on the submarine and stored before setting off again. Captain Nemo was overseeing such operations. Skinner was living up to his title, while Mina and Dr. Jackyl played welcoming committee, perhaps. Handing the note to the first mate for navigation to their next destination, Sawyer turns and heads out to get a bit of home's city air before heading back to Europe once again.

Aeric sighed, crossing his legs on the bench as he watched the house behind him out of the corner of his eyes. Old habits died hard. The house was pretty big, sporting one of those new security systems that were spose to be unbreakable. He bet otherwise.

Unable to control himself he slowly stood, seemingly bored as he watched the couple pull out of their driveway and cruise off. His hands found their way into his pockets as he glanced around carefully before making his way over to the house and examining the system. Piece of cake.

Within moments he was inside and looking over the fancy house. Once again, old habits die hard. That was the thought that ran through his head over and over as he pulled a few items that he knew would fetch a good price, from their shelves and stuck them in his heavy coat pockets. Perhaps money would be needed, or perhaps he would keep the items. Who knew what he would need when he finally met up with the league. Smiling softly he pulled a ring from a jewelry box before him admiring the diamond before he stuck it in his pocket. Then without a second thought he walked out, fixing the system behind him.

Too easy.

"Come on Isia, just for a week. Come home please?" The small voice pleaded.

She bit her lip, holding the pay phone loosely to her ear as she glanced around her. "I can't Lisa, I told you. I have to do this."

"But Issie.." Lisa wined, her voice cracking slightly. "I miss you..you haven't been home in a year."

"I know honey.." She murmured, glancing once again at the time. "I will eventually, but I need to do this. Maybe it will make up for things...."

Lisa started to plead again, cut off as someone else took the phone. "Look Isia, I know you feel like you have something to repay the world for but here's the thing. If you do this don't contact us anymore, its too hard on the little cubs. When you are ready to come home, then call us. But till then..."

She sighed, "I understand." Biting her lip to hold back tears she slipped the heavy phone back in place and stepped out of the booth. Starting back towards where she was spose to meet the boat.

Sawyer stepped out onto the city's dock, glancing around as the crew loaded boxes. Boxes and boxes, but no people yet. Green Lady Liberty visible at the harbor's entrance.
We've got our next destination planned and the members here haven't even boarded... He sighs and looks about again. Patience, patience. All the time in the world. His words echo in his memories and gives him a slight smile.
