hm. if you'd rather not, i'm fine with that. As i said in the attempted JR Aya's changed a ton so she'd prolly seem a stranger to Milo if they did xP

You first, im stuck

Aya
Time when it gets dark again. And cold. Especially 2.3 miles above sea level. I could see down on Earth the land was already doused in darkness.
Mo pops out of a cloud, flying to me quickly and keeping pace with me. Without waiting, the curious little DMO soars down like an arrow. Which was fine, he was small. Less likely to be seen compared to me.
I smile, banking and heading down after his voice and finding the small cabin he was circling excitedly. "Very good." I nod, putting a hand on the lock and adjusting with the gears until it clicked, and the door swung open with a thought, closing behind me by seeming its own accord.

Milo sat atop a roof of a cabin. It was cold. Really cold. He watched as a girl and some...something, maybe an animal walked into the door of the small hut of a home without noticing him. He slid off the roof and moved to a window near the back of the house and peered in.

Aya
The living quarters were small, decorated with typical cabin-ware. Furry rugs and wood furniture, no television, and the electricity had been turned off. Water still worked, coming out a semi rusted color first before clearing quickly. I step up into the air, floating quickly to the kitchen area and opening all cabinets barely after getting through the door frame. Seems like another day without provisions... No upstairs, the ceiling of the house rising to a point. A room to the side contained sleeping quarters and a small bathroom. Nothing special, but it was only for shelter. Simplicity was enough.

The white haired boy balked inwardly as the girl inside levetated easily. A shiver wracked him. He couldn't go inside, but he couldn't stay out here all night either. He'd freeze to death within the hour. What to do....

Aya
I pause, unsure. Glancing about carefully before going into the sleeping quarters, empty. Nothing to salvage in the closets either. But that was fine. The rugs looked warm enough, they could serve as fairly good blankets. I sit down in the middle of the room upon the rug, a small poof of dust rising, but I was used to such conditions.

-2hrs later-

Thats it. Now it was hailing, and his machinery was begginning to glitch. With a stubborn sigh Milo got up from the ground where he had been crouching and moved toward the door. Should he knock?

Aya
I'm in the kitchen again, looking through the cabinets. No provisions, but such interesting contraptions... Knives are familiar however. Weapons. I set them down carefully beside me. Next are these see through vessels, the feeling familiar... Remembering from when I escaped... Glass, it's called...

Milo decided on a plan, and pushed the door open. He walked in confidently, if not stiffly from the cold, as if he owned the place. He shrugged off his coat and hung it up promptly on the wooden coat rack that hung adjacent to the entryway. "Home again." he huffed falsely. He rubbed the back of his neck, he was laying it on a little thick wasn't he?

Aya
It startles me, the sound. Someone. Hostile? Foe or friend? My hands tighten around the glass, my power jumping from my sudden alertness. Things in the cabinets accidentally shatter, the one in my hand cracks but I catch myself before it breaks. Didn't want any cuts from glass again...
He probably heard me. He knew I was here. Hiding was not a possibility anymore, so I quickly snatched up a small, easily concealed knife and shelter it within my sleeve. For defense. I was not supposed to kill those of the homeland. Only if he provoked.

Quickly standing, just seconds after I hear him, moving towards the wall so i could not be snuck up upon.

Milo's spine tingled at the sound of shattering glass. He felt painfully vulnerable for a moment, but pushed it down. There was no going back. He made his way over to the kitchen. "Who're you?" he asked before he even passed though the doorway.

Aya
I take deep, controlled breaths to stay calm and focused, gripping the knife loosely and relaxed. "Classified," I speak quickly, keeping my eyes on him and his movements. I knew how to fight. I didn't want to if I didn't need to.

Her eyes were tense, if her body wasn't. Milo knew instinctively if he made the wrong move she would leap into action. He slowly moved his hands up to his chest in an open gesture. "This is my house," he said continuing the lie he had started "Im not here to hurt you. Just get some rest. You hungry?" he asked the last question cautiously.

Aya
Accursed hunger.... I swallow, but keep my face placid, showing no signs that his words affected me. "There's nothing in your dwelling..." I snap. "It shows no signs of habitation for at least seven months." His story had holes. I'm not so gullible as to fall for that.

Milo cleared his throat. "Oh." he shifted on his feet. He could see it in her face that the game was up. "You got me on that." He laughed slightly from the stress "I was sorta hoping there would be some."

Aya
Odd...sounds.... My focus wavers slightly when he... lackofaword... What was it? "Identify yourself," I say back, my stance staying defensive. Nothing seemed wrong, and Mo wasn't reporting anyone else outside. He came alone?

Milo frowned. "Classified." he mocked. His stance became defensive as well, and possible ways to fight the strange girl flickered across his mind.

Aya
He changes his stance, and I grip my knife slightly more. "Your defeat is unavoidable if you chose to attack," I warn. That was fair, wasn't it? A...fair warning...? Its not like i could prevent mutiny...but I did not know what to do with the traitors of the homeland. Just...kill them like the foes? But people of the homeland required a trial by his fellow peers...

"I don't think so. I'm not looking for a fight. Just a place out of the cold. Stand down." Milo couldn't help but growl the last sentence.
