Edgar:

"Sounds like it. I do wish that my world had the common sense to come up with things like it sounds as though your world has come up with. It would be more efficient." I stated. It would also conveniently provide shelter from the sky to have underground transportation, and reduce foot traffic... Which would clear out the streets for sure...

"How far away is this house precisely?" I asked, curious as to where we even currently were. I'd memorised the whole city at one point, but having not used it ever, I'm certain that I didn't retain much more than what I needed to get to the shops and school and the monastary.

"This far." I stop abruptly, looking up the stairwell to their door. "Five steps...if you need that information out here." I lead, letting go of his hand as I open the large door and stroll on in unhesitating.

Edgar:

"I can see that much at least." I replied, following her upstairs and into the house. I wondered vaguely what exactly I should be doing at the moment, considering that I was again going to be putting on the charade of extremely significant other. I figured that I could probably just get away as I did yesterday, pulling cues from her and dropping insinuating hints about what all had transpired upstairs that one evening. That would probably work fantastically.

"Well. You cant /see/ much of anything," I sneer at him, going down the hallway to the livingroom/diningroom/kitchenette thing at the end. It was about the size of the bottom floor of Face's apartment. The left hallway wall extended in to make up the left wall, the room extending length wise to the right with a door next to the hallway opening for the parent's bedroom and stairs along the right wall up to Lumi's room.

The two of them were sitting there, just staring at me like I was no more but a complete stranger standing in the entrance of their house. "Hey. Stop looking and get up, someone's here to meet y -"

"Aren't you moved out yet? Its been four days." ...Kay. even for me, a father counting the days their daughter isn't home with any sort of positive outlook is weird.

"We have renters scheduled to tour tomor - INTERNETWHATISTHATTHINGBEHINDYOU..."

I don't pay much attention to the woman's screech, instead frowning back at Face. "Sheesh. Get out more and get a reputation in this town already. People wont flip at you so often, maybe..."

Edgar:

I actually brought a hand to my ear to stifle the shrill yelling of Inque's host's mother. That was a syntactically awkward sentence, but I do not care. "I'll tell you more about my public relations plans at a later date, dear...however at present I don't think that a discussion like that would be acceptable to conduct...mixed company and whatnot, you do realise." I replied, pretending to glance down at her. "And, I am a person, not a thing... just to set that statement out there." I stated calmly, figuring that that was going to be hotly protested in a moment. Stupid people and their stupid... intolerance.

Haha...he said 'dear'... I was a /dear/... Wasn't that an amusing concept.

"This is my boyfriend. Be nice, and he wont eat your head off." Because that totally happens...

The father, who just stares as the mother shouts about...I don't know... injustice, toxic effects of water, and the movement out of the house, finally pipes up and says, "What about! !!! ?" And the level of disappointment in his voice is like if his idol just died in some firey explosion off a cliff.

I conclude wealth was involved.

But I just take Face's hand, start towards the stairs. "You wanted me out, so I'm getting out," I say with an eyeroll.

Edgar:

The subsequent ranting was quite amusing to listen to. We barely even had to do anything to incite a response from them, and oh what a response it was. Not that I was really a cannibal anyway, but whatever. I'd allow that comment to slide since the reactions were so big. "I wouldn't be so terribly concerned if I were you, personally. I fit the "good grades and eloquent speech" criterion better than anyone in the whole school. I'm employed in a valid place of work..." I considered adding more to that, but didn't know quite what. "Oh, and if you're concerned about genetics, I think this is a recessive trait. So... don't worry." Ah, yes. That was it. The implication of some kind of long term sexual ideation of their daughter. Plans for small children and whatnot. That was what I had been trying to work in.

I then started up the stairs with Inque, as if I'd just commented on nothing more notable than the weather.

I only just barely manage to snuff a bout of laughter with a hand over my mouth when he says that...at the cost of coordination, stumbling slightly at the top of the stairs before getting to Lumi's room with the muffled sound of an elephant. "Face... What..." I close the door behind him before laughing finally, although I doubted that the thin door would really block the sound.

I heard Inque stifle her laughter at my last statement as we proceeded up the stairs. "I thought I was suppoused to be playing the part." I stated, grinning slightly at the apparent amusement a single comment had delivered. "We should have hung around for a reaction... that would have promised a fantastic show." I commented.

"Pff. Were alone in a room after something like that suggestion... What d'you think is going through their minds now?" I giggle again, looking where I left off yesterday with the open rubbermaid bins in the middle of the room, the bed stripped of blankets, and a missing nighttable and dresser. Today was the other night table and the chest at the foot of the bed which still held a few extra blankets and sheets. The last bit of clothes in the closet that I didn't really like but was sure I could probably find some use for... Whatever small things I could 'borrow' from the house... "The woman can stop screaming in the meantime -" As I was hearing her yell at the father, probably hiding whatever laughter and conversation. "- and then we can come down just as normal as we strolled in."

I allowed my grin to extend at that. That was a good one. We were now alone in a room together. "The allusion that you're suggesting is fantastically hilarious, though without some kind of... subtle alteration of our appearance, I don't know that it would be entirely convincing. Because in all reality, it's not illogical to simply conclude that we were legitimately up here packing as you are doing currently." I stood in the room and listened to her walking around and gathering things into the bins. The actual furniture and other items in the room were lit up quite well as a result of the yelling from downstairs. Oh what one sentence could do.

I hum a giggle, walking over to him. "Same as last time~ Whatever. You. Want." I poke the buttons of his suit in time with my words, grabbing his tie at the end to grin up at him as I guide him down to my level. "Savvy?"

Edgar:

...Well, I'd been thinking about constructing a façade... however, if she felt like actually going through with it, that worked as well. She had my tie and now had me at her eye level. "I had been suggesting a charade, but this works just as nicely... perhaps better." I grinned. Best to try sorting out that whole kissing thing again as a preface to this all, if only for practice...though if I ended up skewering her again there would be an issue. "I hope I won't skewer your face." I stated briefly, before advancing my face in an awkward attempt to do this thing without her awkward nose getting in the way.

I grin , kissing him. Silly boy. Silliness... "I'm fine with anything," I reply afterwords, releasing his tie. Licking my lips for any taste of blood, of which was absent, before kicking the rubbermaid out of the way to sit at the edge of the bed. I cross my legs at my ankles, lean back with my arms behind me for support, and stare up at him. "Lady might stop screaming enough for something to be heard and whatnot. If that follows along with your rules of privacy..."

Post by Invisimort Wed Sep 05, 2012 11:20 pm

Edgar:

She had a bit of a point there. There was nothing to keep them from walking into the room while we were ...otherwise occupied, shall we say. On the one hand... that was of extremely bad taste. This whole excersise wasn't of particularly good taste, really, however since this was theoretically a consensual infringement of my privacy... I thought that perhaps the bad taste on our end was simply a lack of good etiquette perhaps, though since it was her room, even then the ground wasn't solid for legitimate issue.

On the other hand however, it would be exceptionally entertaining if we were caught, simply for the implications and the fun of ruining the girl's reputation.

I contemplated my philosophies on privacy for a moment. As long as I was fully aware of what was happening and when, there wasn't really an issue. I knew that walking into this, there was a high risk of public indecency, and as long as I was well informed of those consequences prior to actually consenting to anything... it should have been fine. It was simply... all of those... sudden intrusions with no forewarning that were impossible to tolerate. The lack of warning was infuriating to me.

"As long as I know there's a possibility of being interrupted beforehand, and the general logistics of this whole haphazard scheme... everything should be fine. It's when these things happen with a notable lack of anticipation that I have issues." I explained, refraining from mentioning that one time. That could completely ruin the mood.

"Hmm, I remember..." I say while investigating my hands, failing at hiding a smirk. Oh memories... Not so long ago I was still practicing fingers, and here I am in another body. Not that I didn't appreciate it, I simply missed doing whatever I could without a container to limit me. "We have to get back to our deal soon..." Off handed remark, but he should already expect some random things happening around me.

Edgar:

Ah yes. The deal. The deal was a bit off topic at the moment, but her statement wasn't invalid simply because of that...we did need to get back to actually working on the deal, instead of frivolously ruining people's lives. Not that frivolously ruining someone's life wasn't a good thing... "We can continue with things when we return home, how's that?" I asked. I ignored the reference to that one incident, simply because it was completely horrifying, and inappropriate, and I didn't want to discuss it any further.

"I do believe that we were planning something, prior to the unexpected conversational derailment, if you'd like to return to that." I stated, joining her on the bed. This was going to be hilarious.

Edgar:

That statement was interesting... considering that any of my positive interactions with society generally involved me using someone in some way to get what I wanted. I really had no issue with it. However the mention of potential revenge had me curious. "Revenge? ...Whatever could you mean by that statement?" I asked, starting on the buttons of my own shirt before following her down, and returning an awkward kiss. ...That one had teeth in it, unfortunately. I decided to ignore the fact that there had been unanticipated teeth, and continued working on the buttons of my shirt single-handedly.

I smirk, laugh at him. "For that which you don't like to think about..." It's not that hard to figure out. "If I wanted, any time you kiss me I could do it again." I poke his chest, my eyes getting hard but my voice staying light. "Do all sorts of trouble on the inside, like the girl yesterday. For all your plans of the future, where might I fit in? I am not one to cross. I don't like being used, Face... This is for mutual benefit, correct?"

I hadn't expected a conversation of this intensity at this point in time. ...Ah well. I suppoused that we could have this conversation if we wanted to currently. Though it was kind of ruining the plan for much potential hilarity. ...Additionally... the thought of her actually doing that anytime she wanted... was really... unpleasant. Particularly unpleasant. Not to mention that I didn't need any more anatomical rearrangement, I was already anatomically deviant enough as it was. "Of course... I mean. there was a deal, was there not? And what exactly do you mean by the question regarding where you fit in? Where would you like to fit in? ...And not to totally ruin this conversation, but weren't we doing something to potentially ruin someone else's life and to raise your host's reputation as some kind of preposterous two sided... ...social deviant? I mean, if you really want to discuss work and the agreement and the future and whatnot, why not discuss it later? This is hardly the time for such discussions..." I explained, still above her.

Ahhh...That was the most of his plans currently, hm. I was expecting the sixty plus year old Face to have simply been himself his whole life, but things are apparently different... My arms go around his torso lightly, and I wished he understood expressions better, because I'm sure his perplexed face might have been at least a little amusing. "Have you particularly enjoyed my company this past week?" I ask him.

And again, we received another wonderful topic change, though I suppouse that this one actually pertained in some abstract way to the activity at hand. "Well, considering the alternative company that I could be keeping, you are substansially preferable to any of the other idiots around." Though, admittedly, some days I just wanted to sit alone in my room and scheme... Not that I was under the impression that she would have in any way detracted from that activity at all. So really, this was a better situation than I ever could have anticipated. She also wasn't asking me to delve into psychotropic pharmaceuticals in order to investigate her acoustics... for lack of a classier term. It was actually not a bad set up at all. "Enjoy could be an apt term for it I suppouse, yes." I stated finally.

She kissed me again, and I attempted to follow her lead there, and I had to wonder for a second time why people had noses. I'd have gone on to further elucidate, but considering what followed, I was quite certain that it wouldn't qualify as Safe for Work... and quite frankly, I don't really find it appropriate at this point in time to elaborate much further on this regard. There are other aspects of the plot to focus on, significantly more important than... this.
