Samuel: I smiled and led her to a chair, sitting her down slowly. "I'll be standing right off to the side while they work on your lovely face," I smiled slightly and stood up straight, walking over to a corner. The maid's were around her then, studying her features and murmuring about what they could do.

Mint: I walked down the hall, my eyes only on the things ahead of me. I wasn't nervous now, for I knew he was occupied by something else at this time of night.

Clary: I closed my eyes, I didn't want to watch. I felt uncomfortable with all these women around me. I took deep breaths.

MaidOne: "Dearie..." I said softly, biting my lip hesitantly. Normally we weren't asigned any jobs like this one, so it was strange actually interacting with someone more important than us. "You must open your eyes so we can see the color more clearly. It'll only make the make-up clash with your features if we can't see the color of your eyes."

Clary: "it's clary,"I said softly before opening my eyes.

MaidOne: I smiled brightly, "That's such a pretty name for a girl with such lovely eyes!" her eyes were a perfect redish brown that us maid's could easily make into a piece of art. The color always popped with lovely soft colors, and I knew we could make her even more beautiful than she was. "Have you ever done this before?" I asked her, trying to make her calmer by making small talk.

Clary: I shook my head, "N-No...i'm a street kid."

MaidOne: My eyes widened and my smile grew, "Wow! That's so interesting! We'll make your first time be the best, I promise you that!" I couldn't help but wonder how she got from being on the street to being here. I could tell some of the girls were a little nervous, they were afraid they had to do a perfect job or else. I calmed them down by giving them a reassuring look, and I began to take out the eye make-up. "It doesn't hurt," I said softly.

Clary: I bite my lip, "Why does the butler want me to look pretty?"

MaidOne: I shook my head, "I wish I could answer that, we don't know ourselves..." I was cut off by one of the other maids. "We don't know anything around here," She muttered while she bent down to curl the girl's hair.

Clary: I flinched slightly and took deep breaths.

MaidTwo: “You’ve never had your hair down before?” I asked her, cocking my head to the side as I pulled the curling rolls away. “It’s a high fashion statement these days…” I closed my mouth when I remembered where the girl was from. “Oh, sorry miss… I’ll be gentler.”

Clary: "I'm not really the type that likes to be girly,"I said quietly. I bite my lip and stayed quiet.I let them work.

MaidOne: Once we finished her hair, all we needed to do was add the touches of make-up to her face. I had to tell her to stop flinching multiple amounts of times; but it was fine since it was her first time. "Okay Miss," I said finally and smiled at her, "You're finished." Another maid came by and handed her a mirror.

Clary: I gasped and almost dropped the mirror, "T-thank you,"I whispered.

(Sorry for not responding, I was on vacation!!)

MaidOne: I smiled proudly at our work and nodded with happiness, "You're very welcome dearie. You look beautiful and I bet all eyes will look to you tonight." Samuel sighed as he walked over, he always thought poorly of us and our pride.
"Come," He said to the girl, holding out his hand and ignoring us.

Clary: I put my head down and took his hand following him.

Samuel: I could feel the maid's eyes following us out of the room; it was obvious they were expecting my approval, but I didn't have an opinion on such trivial things. "Now I shall bring you to the entrance so you can relax there. The others are not yet ready to depart."

Clary: I nodded, "yes sir,"I said quietly.


Vasilisa: I whimpered as I shifted waiting for him to come back...if he came back.

Samuel: "Are you okay miss? Did the maid's frighten you? They can be overwhelming with how they take everything over the top," I sighed and shook my head, "I'll have to talk to them about their behavior one of these days. They cause too many people anxiety."

Clary: "Its you,"I said quietly. "The maids were great."

Samuel: I chuckled softly and settled her down into a chair, "It's me? Why, I don't think anyone has ever been so blunt to me in my life." I sighed and turned to the stairs, waiting. "This is new."

Clary: I cracked my knuckles and leaned back in the chair, "What's new?"

Samuel: I frowned at the sound of her knuckles snapping, it was a bone-chilling sound that I didn't enjoy at all. "Someone being so blunt to me," I sighed and shook my head, "being so blunt may be bad for you in the future."

Clary: "You not the first to tell me that and it certainly won't be the last,sir," i stated and yawned bored. I had a short attention span already and this was not helping.
