Haha me and Music were battling it out with ninjas and pirates...haha didn't really have anything to do with the chat. I'll repost the last relevant post.

So, everyone's in an old bar except Milo, who is out looking for Cricket, Sparrow, and Finn. But they're in the bar, too.

REPOST:

Cricket: "Wouldya look at that," he grinned when he felt the strings of an old guitar in the dark. They'd found apon a supply closet backstage, full of forgotten instruments and the like.

Finn: "I can't, it's dark in 'ere," he said, and fumbled around for a light. He stumbled apon a little chain and tugged it. The closet lit to life. Cricket was holding a very beat-up-looking guitar. "Ah. I see." Cricket tossed the thing and Finn caught it by the neck, and he plucked a string. "Out of tune."

Sarah stood and took the accustic guitar from Marnie. She strummed, fixed the strings, and played a scale. "Well, this one works."
Marnie saw the light go on. "Aparently the power does too." She plugged in the amp and connected the mic. A loud screech filled the club.
"Ooooow..." Jess frowned and uncovered her ears.

Benny: "Are we really going to play music now?" I asked, with a laugh

Finn: he winced at the screech, and looked back at the guitar. He fiddled around with the strings. He strummed something short, and winced. "Ouch. Not quite..." he fiddled with it some more, and then strummed again. "Better."

Cricket: he watched Finn expectantly, leaned against a wall and whistled something quietly. This whistle didn't mean anything; it was just a tune.

Finn grinned, recognised the upbeat song, and started playing. Quietly at first, but it grew. Cricket whistled along, and would be smiling if he were able. Over the years he'd learned how to hum nad whistle at the same time so it sounded like a chord, and he threw some of that in, too.

Mike dragged the piano out. "Hey Kim! I think this is your department!"
She rolled her eyes. "Fine..." She grabbed the helping hand from Mike and hauled herself up on stage. She went to the piano and sat, played a simple harmony. "Relatively in tune..." She began playing The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows. Sarah smiled and joined in.

Finn: He stopped playing. "Dang." The piano didn't sound quite right. He walked out onstage. "Who's playing an out-of-tune piano? Ouch."

Kim stopped and frowned. "Whose playing the out of tune guitar?"
"Hey, this stuff is old. We can't complain about it." Sarah strummed and a string broke. She winced. "See?"

Finn: he winced, then smiled. "Old I'm used to, believe you me. Lemme see that," he gestured to the guitar.

Sarah passed it up with a smile. "Thanks Finn." Though he had never actually told her his name.

Finn: he took the guitar, then cocked his head, thinking. " 'ave we met?"

Sarah blinked in surprise. "Oh, sorry." She laughed. "Haven't gotten a hand on my powers yet." She rolled her eyes. "I usually can, but still recovering."
"Yup. Sarah's our Mind Freak," Marnie laughed.
"Please..." She smiled to Marnie. "I thought i was Puppeteer."
"You are," Jess said. "You've never seen Chris Angel? Ugh! We have to rent that when we get back!"

"Mind reader?" Cricket appeared on stage. I'm in trouble now, he smirked.

Finn: he looked at Sarah. Testing, testing, he thought with a grin.

She sighed. "One, two, three..."

Finn: "Ah-ha! That, friend, is both fantastically amazing and scary at th' same time."

Cricket: "No kidding..." He wondered from how far away she could read thoughts. Maybe she was reading his thoughts right now, him being only a few yards away...Can you hear me? He cocked an eyebrow and smiled. Of course you can. Mind if I experiment?

Sarah frowned. "Jeez...I found all of you from Austria by your thoughts. You really need to test it?"
Ami looked up. "They've been after you that long?"
Sarah nodded. "Not really. It was on and off but they did a fairly good job tracking me here, as you saw..."

Cricket: "That far? Damn." That must give a strong headache, being able to hear thoughts from miles apon miles away. I'm in trouble, by far. No more lying. I hate thinking, anyway...bad memories. Damn it, she heard that, too. Stop thinking!...Does she just hear words, or does she see a picture, too? Agh...stop thinking. Stop thinking. Is that physically possible? "Agh!" He slapped a hand to his forehead. "This is hard."

Finn: What was that about? "That must come in handy, aye? You can know what they're planning, where they are and such, so you can get away."

Sparrow: I strolled in with a pinched up face and my hands covering my ears. "Yikes! Who's torturing babies in here?" I spoke over the untuned instrements.

"Sometimes...others...not so much." Sarah frowned at Cricket. "Your thought process is what's giving me the headache." She blinked at the girl.
"Don't mind the bitch," Jess said, crossing her arms.
Mo's eyes saddened as he persisted with Ami. He chimed. Her eyes wandered to Angel. "No," she whispered to him and turned away.

Cricket: he looked at Mo and Amy curiously, but spoke to Sarah. "Sorry. Bit flustered. Not every day someone reads my mind."

Sparrow: I glared for a moment. "Your doing it again," I said to Jess, turning on the balls of my feet and walking around the room observing.

Angel: Mo chimed to Ami and Ami made an unpleasent face at me. What was up with her? And why did Mo have such an interest in me? I pulled up a stool and sat, invisable to the untrained eye.

"Yeah, well..." She laughed. "Not everyday someone flies, or bursts into fire, or summon plants. But that's not all i can do."
"What?" Jess said innocently. "Just stating the obvious..."

Cricket: In the corner of his eye he saw Angel, off in the shadows again. He oftened wondered what he was thinking, but, at the same time, wasn't sure if he wanted to know, or if he should care at all. But he cared, somehow. "But reading minds, that's different. Honestly, it's hard to get used to."
