Terra: I dabbed at my dress, finally back at my table. I glanced both ways. I'm so happy no one found out who I was. Well, the guys did, but they don't count.

Luke: Feeling a bit awkward, maybe a bit out of place, I took a seat at an empty table and acted like I had been having fun but was cooling off. I didn;t notice one masked girl sitting next to me

Terra: I caught a shadow moving, then jumped slightly. "Oh, hi." I said. "I didn't know anyone was sitting here." I scratched the back of my neck.

Luke: I started. "Erm... neither did I, really." I smiled, only my mouth showing through the half-mask. And here's where I begin to socialize. GOod. That's what my parents wanted me to do, that's why they forced me here. "I'm Luke Colbit..."

Terra: I didn't recognize him-- I don't think. "Y'know, you're not supposed to tell anyone who you are." God.

Luke: Shoot. I shrugged. "Um... yeah well... I kinda think this whole masquerade is kind of dumb..." I muttered, looking at the people dancing.

Terra: "Kind of. I was forced here, though. I won't waste 40 bucks worth a ticket." I shrugged.

Luke: "Really?" I said in interest, wondering who this girl was. "I was forced here too... I dont usually go to school events..." Because I'm just a bit of a nerd, you see.

Terra: "Me neither," I said. "I hate coming, and wearing freakin' dresses."

Luke: I laughed. "At least you look nice," i admitted. "I'm not one for suits either."

Terra: I stared at him carefully. "Thanks..." I said supiciously. It's kind of subconscious, but whenever people tell me I look nice, I think it's from being around guys all the time, but I always thought it's because they wanna mock me. He doesn't seem like that though, but I couldn't help being suspicious. "You look nice yourself." His eyes popped out against his mask and suit a clear blue.

Luke: I shrugged and sat back in the chair. "I feel like my compliment was taken as an insult..." i admitted truthfully.

Terra: "It wasn't." I lied. He sure was observant.

((Eh? No no he's saying he felt like she took his compliment as an insult... like he was mocking her?))

(Oooh.... God, sometimes I question my sight)

Luke: What a liar. Whatever. "So do you usually come to these things?" She seemed like someone who would, strangely, but I doubted it.

Terra: "Nah. My feet are better at running, not dancing."

Luke: What the heck? "You're a runner? Then I must've seen you before..."
