Cassandra: "Are you all trying to get whipped?" I say, trying to keep my voice down despite my hysteria. "You have ten minutes to get all of this cleaned up and your beds fixed! Ten and only ten!"

My eyes widened as I remembered how I almost died last time. Evey-body in the room stopped what they were doing and immidiately started cleaning, including me

Carter: "What are you doing, PEM?" I ask, not looking up as I fix my bed. "Technically, I won the fight. You're with the boys now."

Maryanne
"Wait... what?" I asked, confused "I'm with the boys now?"

Carter: "Yup, it's been decided. If I'm going to tame you, I have to make sure you know where your allegiences ly. Which is why I saved you from the clutches of the Amazonian princesses."

Maryanne
"I... I can't sleep in the boy's dorm! That's against the rules!" I gasped out "I can't hang out with the boys, and eat with the boys, and... hey... but that means I don't have to see the girls..." They were jerks

dinner!

Carter: "And you'll get inducted into my band of merry men. Although I guess we'll have to change it to merry men and a PEM. But it'd work out. Just make your bed over there but sleep over here. Easy peasy."

Maryanne
/Me/? In his group of freaks? "Okay" I said a little more cheerily then expected "But if you try and pull a lavender trick, this Pink Eyed Monster will rip your head off, Sir Oaks"

Carter: "I promise nothing," I say with a grin. I take the lavender out of my pocket and grin. "How am I gonna train you if I don't have this?"

Maryanne
I sneezed and took a step backwards "You're a little butthead, aren't you, Sir Oaks?" I said irritatedly

Carter: "Nay, fair monster." I take something else out of my pocket and grin. The black box. "I am but a simple knight."

Maryanne
"They let you bring that back?" My eyes widened "Do you think it works in this world?" And fair monster is kinda a weird phrase, but at least I wasn't horrid monster anymore

Carter: "I'm not really sure," I say frankly. "But I'm gonna show it to the guys during lunch. Maybe we'll be able to get everyone to come to the Outside."

Maryanne
"Do you think that's a good idea? I mean, I'm not even sure we can get there on our own... and why don't you try it out first?"

Carter: "Ok, Ok," I slip it out and look aroud. No one's staring, so I put it up to my face and whisper "Knight!" I instantly start to transform back into a knight. But when I look around the room, no one's even looking my way. What the heck?

Maryanne
I look around, waiting for somebody to notice... but there was nothing. "So nobody cares that you've suddenly turned into a knight?!" I asked "Okay, gimmie that thing"

Carter: I unchange and shake it. "Maybe it's broken? It /does/ seem a little faulty." I hand it to her and wait.

Maryanne
"/I/ saw you change" I said, then whispered into the box "Dragon" Soon I was a dragon about the size of a fully grown man, with silver scales and bright pink eyes

Carter: "A hah! So that's what you really look like!" People look over me when I start to yell, but boredly look away. My eyes widen and I look back and forth between PEM and the others. Has everyone lost their minds?!

I unfolded my wings, stretching them out and testing them "I think I like this better then being human" I admitted in a strange language that I couldn't quite place.

Carter: "Mhm, rawr to you to," I say as I start thinking. Maybe it onky works for people who can see the outsiders. Suddenly, the door opens again, and it's not Cass. My eyes widen and I start pushing PEM out the door. "Hide! It's the Duboe!"

I ran into the girl's room, and jumped onto my old bed. Which was weird, because, I was, you know, a dragon.

Carter: I close the girl's door and run over to my bed just as Duboe gets her bearings and starts making her rounds. Cass comes in a few minutes later and starts following behind her, completely white.

"Human" I whispered into the box, and felt myself morph back. Dang, I do wish that I could have stayed a dragon though. Wonder what would happen if I flew? I hid the box under my bed

Carter: "You call this making a bed?!" she seethes. It takes me a moment to realize she isn't talking to me, but the kid in front of me. I passed. But she grabs the poor sucker by the ear and hauls him towards Cass. She looks seriously uncomfortable when he bursts into tears and clings to her skirt. The Duboe reaches the girl's door and throws it open. Their turn.
