Ambrosia - I shrug, "Crazy, dedicated, controlling, fill-in-the-blank."

Luke: I laughed. "Couldn't put it better myself."

Now we are missing someone again.

Ambrosia - "What can I say," I tease, "I'm good with words."

Luke: "But you're awful at portraying them..." I shook my head again. "Why in the hell did you kiss that guy? Didn't I tell you what was on all their minds before we even stepped in here?"

Ambrosia - "Because kissing is good for not thinking," I shrug.

Luke: i had no response. "Now are you going to stay here and get what you want or should we leave? Not necessarily go home, just out of this place."

Ambrosia - I nod, "Yes, let's go."

Luke: "Where to?" I hoped she would pick a safer environment, like a diner or the park or something. Anywhere without drunken fools.

Ambrosia - I thought about it and smiled to myself. "How about that nice little diner down town?"

Luke: Phew. "Alright." I drove to down town, a ten minute ride and as we pulled up to the diner, I sniffed the booze-free air appreciatively and walked in, the warmth spreading over.

Ambrosia - "Luke, you worry too much," I comment sitting down at an empty table.

Luke: "Again, more for my safety than yours. Imagine what Damien would do if he finds out I let you out on your own after I promised to look after you."

Ambrosia - I shrug, "Find another playmate?"

Luke: "After he's killed me, you mean."

Ambrosia - "Do you not think you could take him?" I ask.

Luke: "I could, because I could preview what his moves would be in his head, but I don't think I would. It would set a wrong image in the Justices's minds."

Ambrosia - "Yes," I nod, "I guess it would."

Luke: "However, if I had the opportunity to hurt Damien and not switch I would." I looked at her sadly. "Half your face was red when you walked in the dining room today. I think he did that?"

Ambrosia - I looked down at my plate, "I can handle him myself," I say quietly.

Luke: "Clearly," I scoffed, not believing her.

Ambrosia - I looked up at him. "I can, I just need time to figure out how."

Luke: "Make sure it's soon, though, love... If you switch to the Justices he'll just have a better reason to hurt you."
