El Dia de los Muertos.

Apollo: I blinked. She was a genuine person. I liked that. Perfect, you say? Ha, you should have told Vincent...I'm sure he would have had quite a laugh at that.

Rose: "now why would he laugh?"

Apollo: I smiled sheepishly, a little sad at reliving the memories. He always used to call me the antisocial one...'a weird hermit,' I believe he said.

Rose: I laughed slighty, and put my hand on his cheek. "I don't care if you're a weird hermit, which you aren't."

Apollo: I was surprised at the touch, how warm she was. I smiled, placing a hand over her own. And for that, I am honored.

Rose: his hand felt nice on mine, soft. I slid my hand out and wrapped my arms around his neck.

Apollo: I lightly rested my chin on her arms, resting the flute at my side as my hands lingered at her elbows. She was truly beautiful.

Rose: the hug felt natural. Comfortable. I didn't want to ever let go.

Apollo: I smiled against her arms. Her scent was vey calming, just like her smile.

Rose: this hug, even if it wasn't the most passionate hug in the world, told me something. It told me I loved him.

(Aww!)

Apollo: I stood up slowly, turning in her embrace to where I was facing her. I smiled down at her pink face, placing a gentle kiss on her forehead. This feeling...I didn't want it to end.

Rose: I smiled, and moved to where his lips touched mine. Much better.

(AWW!)

Apollo: My eyes widened at the action, but I slowly returned the gesture, bringing up my hand to stroke her cheek softlly with my thumb. For once, my mind was blank, and there was only feeling. The most undescribable feeling in the world.

Rose: this was just....perfect. we were caught up in our own moment of bliss. The White Plague, the Crazies, nothing could interrupt this. It was just too good. I never wanted to let go.

Apollo: Slowly, I broke the kiss, in need of air after a while. I wrapped my arms around her, resting my chin on her head softly with a smile, closing my eyes.

Rose: I laid my head against his chest. It felt muscular and comfortable. "I don't care that you can't talk." I said softly.

Apollo: I let out a breath at that, but smiled, my chest vibrating gently with a chuckle. Technically I could talk, but I could only do it through the means of a flute...which didn't sound weird at all what-so-ever.

Rose: I felt so warm and safe... "I love you." I said.

Apollo: My eyes flew wide and I stood completely frozen for a moment before a smile spread across my face and I pulled her closer. I placed my lips against the crown of her head and moved them slowly. 'I love you,' I mouthed.

Rose: he loved me too. I figured that out quickly. I smiled, and just remained in his arms, happy as ever.

Apollo: I pulled back slightly to look at her, to just marvel at her. She was absolutely stunning. And she was mine.

Rose: I smiled. He seemed so happy now. Was he as elated as I was? I was thrilled to death. Who would have thought that I would find someone when I was immortal. It seemed so... oh what was that old vampire book? Twilight. That's it. Twilight. The sun was setting over the horizon. "Its getting late." I said softly, running my finger on his chest.

Apollo: I nodded, glancing back over my shoulder in disappointment, but I didn't let it show. I leaned down and snatched the flute, putting it to my mouth. Shall I take my leave, then?

Rose: "well.... much as I don't want you to, but yes. You need sleep." Out of the corner of my eye, a black plume was rising from the ground toward the north. Smoke. Fire. Dang.

Apollo: I caught her gaze and saw the shadow-like ribbon twirling along in the grayish amber sky. I'm coming.
