Fiddling with the neon glowing clutch held tight in my striped hands, I couldn't hide the fact. I was so nervous, I was afraid I'd sweat off all my makeup.
Nana Love's party?
This was crazy.
I joined this clique two days ago, when it was in the 2000s, and got in due to my proudly flaunted degree in Rustie Animals. I worked so hard for that when I was an ugly, it got my mind off my boring old life.
And suddenly, I was swept up in the whirlwind of popularity. Who would know we'd get along like sister-soulmates, all eight of us?
Glancing over heads, it was easy to spot our matching skin. Surprisingly, my flash tattoo stripes began to race all over my skin at the sight of them. I giggled as they waved me over.
"You made it! Awesome!" Leisure said in her pippy voice.
I grinned, shrugging, and let out a big roar.
We all fell into a fit of giggles and looked around.
"We missed best clique awards, and all that, but none of it was us."
I looked over my shoulder as they started to talk about the best clique, glitter something. A girl caught my eye, alone, looking distracted with her thoughts.
"Just a second," I mumbled, running up to the girl
