Jace: I type madly on the computer, trying to get rid of Matt. Of course, he always had the option of calling me...

Tara: I logged onto Facebook and saw Jace was on. I smiled to myself and chatted him:

Hey

Hey. Gimme five seconds. I gotta git rid of someone.

Is that Jace talking? I'm gonna assume so.

Tara:

Okay...

Jace: I decide to just ignore Matt.

Wassup?

Tara:I smiled.

Nothing much, just wanted to say hi, you?

Jace:

Um...

I look around the room.

I was about to get something from the mall.

Tara:

The mall? Fun.

Jace:

Not really. I just need some new...clothes.

Tara: I frowned. He had money to just go shopping? Lucky.

I lied.

Jace:

You wanna meet me there?

Tara: A smile spread across my face.

Sure. Cya there!


As I logged off I cursed. What was I thinking? I didn't have money to go to the mall!

Jace:

I chuckle and turn off the computer, reaching for my wallet. It would be like a girl to not have money, wouldn't it?

(Tara didn't tell him that she didn't have money...)

Tara: I jumped up, my mood better, and pulled on a cute outfit. Cute enough, anyway, since I was only going to the mall. I grabbed my keys and drove over.

(I know. He's thinking ahead.)

Jace: I smile when I peek outside of my window. Not that I would've like to pick her up.

(oh lol. And I meant she was driving to the mall. they were supposed to meet there)

Jace: I slip into my car, checking my mirror. I freeze, staying still. "What are you doing here?"
"You miss me?" she asks.
I swallow. "Not entirely. Is there a word for what you're doing?"
She smiled. "Stalking or kidnapping? Because I'm in the process of both." She puts a shiny new gun to my head. "Now tell me what you did to Dom."

Tara: I arrived at the mall, then went inside and texted Jace.

Where are you?

(*bows*)

Jace: My phone buzzed before I could say anything. The gun nudged at my temple. "Answer it."
Sighing, I took my phone out. Tara.
"Tell her you've run into a little problem."
I swallow and text back, then put my phone back in my pocket.
"Now start the car. I don't want anyone interrupting us."
"Sure. But you do know...nevermind. You might kill me then."
The gun pressed harder. "What?"
"Oh, it's just that I never did anything. It was all you."
She smirks. "And what makes you think that?"
I roll my eyes. "You cheated on him with me. How'd you track me down, anyway?"
Her smile widens. "Facebook."

Tara: I frowned at his text.

Did your car break down? I can come and get you.

Jace: This time she snatched the phone from me. "Is this your new girlfriend?"
I roll my eyes. "What are you gonna do? Rape me?"
"Thinking about it," she muttered, texting back.
"Well then what else do you want?"
"Revenge," she said simply, not bothering to explain. Then she tossed the phone into my lap.
"What'd you write?"
"She asked if you want to be picked up and I told her the meeting's off."
I sigh. "You're going to ruin my life."
She climbed into my lap. "But Jacey...I'm not finished yet."

Tara: I blinked. Well, okay then. Why'd he invite me if he didn't want to go? I thought Jace liked me. Was this all just a joke? Had one of his friends made a bet with him that he could get a girlfriend in a certain amount of days? All my ideas sounded like bad movies. I didn't text back, just drove home, biting my lip so I wouldn't cry.
