Tara: "Um, I'm pretty sure you're not gay, just say it," I smirked in amusement.

Jace: "A skirt," I lie. After a moment, I sigh. "I don't know. A vest?"

Tara: "A vest?" I wrinkled my nose. "How about...jeans...or...a shirt that says Hollister? But a vest?"

Jace: I frown. "See?"

Tara: I rolled my eyes and grabbed a pair of jeans that were worn down in some parts, and washed out in others. They looked like the right size. "Wanna try them on before you buy them?"

Jace: I purse my lips. "You promise not to look at me funny?"

Tara: My brow furrowed. "What do you mean? You just go in the changing room try it on and come out."

Sometimes I do. It's like...I don't have time to stay on for long because I need to work or something like that.

Jace: "You're acting like I've never been in a dressing room before," I say with a smile.

Tara: " 'Kay...well just go, and stop confusing me!" I handed him the clothes, then pushed him to the dressing room.

Jace: I quickly changed, muttering something about abuse as I did. When I stepped back out, I wasn't impressed.

Tara: "Not bad," I shrugged.

Jace: I frown. "Sure it isn't."

Tara: "What is that supposed to mean?" I frown back.

Jace: "I just don't think it's...my color." I smile shyly.

Tara: "Then you pick out a color." I rolled my eyes.

Jace: "Well, that's the problem. I can't shop, but I know what looks good on me."

Tara: I sighed. "Then you can pick something."

Jace: "Well, now I'm conflicted," I mutter, heading back to the dressing room.

Tara: I rolled my eyes again, and leaned against the wall, pulling out my phone to text someone.

Jace: "What about you?" I ask when I get out.

Tara: "What about me?" I asked in confusion.

Jace: "You're not gonna buy anything?"

Tara: "No..."

Jace: I roll my eyes and hold out my wallet. "Knock yourself out. I'm not using it, anyway."

Tara: I shook my head, with a slight frown. "Thanks but...no. I don't use other peoples' money."
