Angel: "I suppose so. This way," I said and started up the block. Memories came flooding back. Boy was this the weirdest place to have taken them.

Sparrow: "I'f you see anybody, dont make eye contact."I mentioned.

Emily: "Well...this is....an interesting place to live...." Taking Sparrow's tip to heart. I look over at Sarah a bit concerned. She really needed a place to crash for a few hours.

"Yeah yeah, and if anyone talks to you that you don't know, run straight home. I think I remember the basic street rules," Cricket muttered at Sparrow's comment, but they both made sure not to draw too much attention to themselves.

Sparrow: I shrugged. "Just sayin. I'm not gonna lie to you. This isnt a nice town. It's not even an okay town. These arent nice people and they sure as hell dont want to be your friend." I threw the hood of my hoodie over my head, covering some of my face with my hair.

Finn whistled something softly to Cricket, who nodded. A bad neighborhood might not have been anything new to them, but this wasn't home. Things were different here, maybe not for the worse or the better, but the rules might have changed. They would have to be careful.

Kim: I study her. "I assume that you've made a few of those not nice people enemies."

Milo: I sighed roughly and kept walking. Shady town...got it. I didn't give a damn where we were now, just where we'd end up. I shoved my hands in my jacket pockets and walked with my head down.

Sparrow: I smirked, "See, when I tell you this I know you'll come up with some hatefull lame ass retort, but I actually have a whole lot of respect and friends here. This be my home, 'member?" I shot her a rueful look.
"Just the only way you get respect in this place is by having a reputation. And how do you think people get a rep'?" I asked.
"They challenge people who already have them."

Milo: It was cold. Damn it was cold. Snow flurries started tumbling down from the gray sky, slicking down the sidewalks and soaking us through.

Develyn shivered and fluffed her feathers, staring with her beady eyes. Snowflakes. Shiny. Finn wrapped his hands around her to keep her from squawking, and smiled a little at the snow. It was cold, sure, but they didn't get much snow in Luna.

Sparrow: "Ew. Snow is revolting. Makes me want to kick small children." I whined, kicking a slushball.

Angel: I shot her a look. "You're starting to piss me off. Quit acting so miserable." I demanded.

Sparrow: I stuck my tongue out at him. "You first retard. Kiss my ass." I rolled my eyes and squined through the snow.

I saw the tilt of Finns mouth at the snow. I guessed that wherever he was from didn't get a whole lot of it, but I hated the stuff. Sure it was pretty, until it gave you frostbite.

Cricket smirked. "Stop complaining, all o' you. Why can't people want what they have for once? You have sunshine, you want rain, you've got snow, you want sunshine...We've got snow. I kinda like it."

Emily: I laugh. "Right, like i haven't experience the cold enough." The flakes don't melt on me.
Kim: "Stop with the puns..."
Emily: "I haven't even said one yet."
Kim: I glare at her. "YET."

Sparrow: I raised a brow at Cricket. "Who are you, Jesus? For shit's sake, let me be grumpy if I feel like it," I stuffed my hands in my pockets, feeling the tips of my fingers gradually going numb.

Angel: "Keep going, this way," I said as we turned a corner.

Cricket chuckled, and shivered a little. Now the cold was starting to catch up to him. He hardly noticed, though, just watched the snow on Develyn's feathers.

Milo: I looked at our tracks in the snow. They were being filled up quickly by the snow that was fluttering around...something flicked on in my mind as I turned around. One...two...three...there was too many tracks. I stooped dead in mine, and Sparrow ran flat into me.

Finn cocked an eyebrow at Milo and Sparrow. "Oi, can't cuddling wait 'til we get there? Yeesh."

Sparrow: "Oof!" I stumbled backwards. "What the fuck was that about?" My cheeks flared pink at Finn and I glared and looked away. And then I looked around. Did it just get weirdly quiet in here?

Milo: I whipped my head around, trying to get an idea of where they where. There was two of them I was sure. I stepped away from Sparrow and walked a couple paces to the left before two tall men materialized from the hazy white flakes. Gang members? "Hey there." The taller of the two sneered.

Sparrow: I shook my head. "Oh fucking fantastic."

Angel: Why did everyone stop?

Cricket watched the two men out of the corner of his eyes, staying in the background. Judging by Sparrow's reaction, these weren't those friends she had been talking about.
