Milo: I whipped my head around, trying to get an idea of where they where. There was two of them I was sure. I stepped away from Sparrow and walked a couple paces to the left before two tall men materialized from the hazy white flakes. Gang members? "Hey there." The taller of the two sneered.


Sparrow: "I got it.." I stepped over to them. "Can I help you?" I asked in a mundane tone, putting my hands on my hips and cocking my head to the side. You dont scare me, pothead.

Milo: The taller, whom I decided to deem rat, the other mouse, said "Dont you remember sweet cheeks?" with a wink. I felt my anger rise up at the intended meaning.

Sparrow: I rolled my eyes. "Look do you want something or not? I don't have all day to waste on a crack head like you."

Milo: Rat began "You owe me a date since i supplied you with-" Mouse interrupted, "It was me you..." The rest was drowned out as I turned back to Sparrow, a confused expression tilted up the side of my mouth, and I wondered what was that important to be 'supplied with' to promise a date to one of these two.

Emily
Well, wasn't this boring? I suppose two gang members suddenly become 'boring' when you've experience a bunch of top secret agents come after you a few dozen times.
Ami
I looked back at Sparrow. I was tired, but i could still deal with these two easily. "Shall I get rid of them?"

Sparrow: "For the love of god, dont be dumb. No, you cant "take care of them". It might have escaped you but you cant do that stuff here, this is America." I turned back to the two idiots.

"I dont owe you shit, you said you'd do that for free." I clarified.

Ami
I narrow my eyes at her. "I don't mean like /that/."
Jess
Well, this was getting slightly freaky. not like before, but where i came from we didn't have much gang activity. The closest thing that might have came to a gang in my town might have been the book club at the library for god's sake!

Milo: When Ami said that she would 'take care of them' what little trust I had in her dropped out. Was she really that ready to kill these two men? Irksome yes, but they didn't deserve to die. With a chill down my back, I realised she reminded me of the cruel soldiers stationed at home. I felt a spark in my heart, and I moved closer to Sparrow instinctively.

Rat: "Thats not how I 'member it. Whos that pretty boy?"

Sparrow: "He's the guy that's gonna bury your ass when I'm done kicking it if you dont back. the. fuck. up." I pushed him away as he moved closer. His smug look told me he was already underestimating Milo. Good. Let them get hit. They need a good kick in the teeth.
"Run along now children. The adults have business to take care of." I teased and started walking away, towing Milo my his arm.

Ami
I watch silently, unsure. Milo had given me some look that i could not identify, but made me feel very alone.

Milo: Sparrow grabbed my arm as gritty fury clawed its way into my mind. Finch, dead on the ground, so small. My home collapsing in on itself, my voice hoarse from shouting. A shiver when up my spine, and I shoved Sparrows head down as a knife slammed into a stucco wall and front of us and tumbled to the ground. I lost it.

The next thing I am conicous of is Sparrow shouting in my face, and the two men moaning in the dirt in front of me. Thinking of home was not good for me.

"He's up, he's up, stop shouting," Sarah murmured. She blinked away the pain. "You, sir, have one mental punch thats for sure..."
Ami stood between them, hand out to Milo. She didn't know what had happened to him, but she had to come between them before he killed them. Even now, she held him to the ground. "Milo? You back?"

Sparrow: "Milo!" I yelled at him. I looked down at the two retards. I crouched down, looking the big one right in the eyes. I smiled to hide my laugh. "Told you so." I said to him before getting up and turning to Milo.
"What was that about?"

Milo: I felt disoriented, and got up by myself. I kept my eyes trained on the ground. I was just like them, I realised with a start. "I..." I shook my head and turned away. I was pissed at myself for losing it. It made me even more frustrated. I threw my hands up in the air and let them slam down at my sides, exaspereated.

Ami
I totally released him, lowered my hand to my side but stayed between him and the two just in case. Was that like me, when i became Ayakashi?

Milo: I met Amis eyes. She was the only one who knew how I felt now. I still didn't trust her, but I found solace in the fact that I wasn't the only one. I had a feeling we'd end up talking about it later.

Mike picked Sarah up. "No more mind dives for you."
"Just trying to help," she murmured.
"Yes, we know." He eyed Milo uncertain, sighed, and smiled. "Hey, man. It's okay now, right?"
"Jess. Tie them up," Ami instructed. Vines broke through the sidewalk and wrapped around the two gang members.
"That. Was. Wicked..." Kim laughed, though there was a nervous side to it too.
Ami shook her head. "We should get out of the streets."

Milo: We followed Angel the rest of the way to his house. The air chilled us to the bone, and we all stepped gratefully into his home. I sat on the couch as the others walked about.

Ami
I paused in the hall. Mike set Sarah down in a chair. Emily had gone over and placed a cooling hand on her head with a frown. Marnie hung by worried. Jess and Kim chatted in the corner. My eyes settled on Milo again as Mo comes out of my backpack, surveys our new surroundings.

Milo: I turned to Sarah. "What did you see?" I asked gently.
