My eyes flickered and fixed on him uneasily. I lifted to brush hair behind my ear, and I would have to give it another dye before it went blonde, as the tip of a flame bloomed on my fingertips. The sweet rush it gave me caressed the hollow feeling in me.
This showed, "Fine."

How can my charries ge back into this?

And Gemma is walking behind Mitseru, for the record (not like a stalker, but her class is near detention)

Mitseru: "So," I ask suddenly as we round the corner, a smirk starting to form. "Have you ever been hunted before?"

Gemma: I shook my head. "No..." It was making the pit of my stomach drop just thinking of it. "Have you?" i asked, my eyes a bit wider.

Mitseru: "A few..." I say. Twice. Then again, she's still a baby. She'll learn soon enough. "What do you know about them?"

Gemma: I folded my arms in front of me, blushing. "Only that they're really old vampires... Way older than me," i said sheepishly.

Mitseru: "Not all of them," I say with a wink. "You'd be surprised how...varied the hunters are these days."

Gemma: I blinked a few times and cocked my head. "Humans, too?" I felt like a first grader, asking these questions. "Sorry if I'm being a little annoying," I said.

Sparrow: Sharply curving around the hallway, I bumped with a tall figure.
A dark sense loomed over him, and I could remembered the smell.
"Ah, nice to see you," I sneered, my human voice twisting into my Hunter one, a voice low and sneer and sinister, a voice that scared a vampire.

Otis: I stop dead in my tracks when the voice hits me, my lips starting to contort in a smirk. Figures I'd see him here of all places. Not bothering to turn around or move my headphones, I shove my hands in my pockets and look down the hallway. "I could say the same," I say easily.

Sparrow:
"Follow," I urge.
I turn quickly, eyes blazing with copper red flecks burning through contacts.
I lead him to a darker, quieter, deserted hall.
"Now, listen..."
A loud hiss breaks through the air, and I snap my head up.
But I don't need eyes. I know the smell.
The long, brown-blonde haired vampire glares at us menacingly.

Mary-Ann (Blood)

I lunge forward in a flash, suddenly beside the two boys. I know so much hate has filled me, the dye and contacts burned away with venom.
I want to kill him. I want to lunge and rip his lungs out. I want to eat his disgusting blood.
I want him dead, and his new friend, too.

Otis: I barely flinch. I was just in a classroom full of her kind, got my car wrecked by one, and watches one eat my dad when I was little. You gotta get use to it at some point. I wouldn't call it underestimating, but why flip out if you knew the monsters that hide under your bed by name? I look at her and then at Sparrow. His move.

Sparrow:
"Excuse me, silly girl, we're talking, could you leave us alone?" I say.
I'll get you later, with the new boy. I add silently in my head.
The vampire's expression doesn't waver. She's too stubborn to back down.
I look over lazily at the boy. He seems calm, undisturbed.
Which is a good quality for a Hunter. I smell no fear on him, either.

Mary-Ann (Blood)
I feel the flames boiling me up. Fire was the only way to feel anything.
I channeled it, feeling it ready to burst, tamed in my flesh. Years and years of practice allowed me to control the flame.
Enough to let the Hunter become a wailing ball of burning ash if I let it out.
Or, so I hoped. I didn't know if it would really work.
"I'd prefer to talk, as well."

How is Sparrow talking to?

Otis: "I don't think we need to talk," I say, not afraid to look her in the eye. "If we wanted to include vampires, we would've put up a sign at the blood bank. But as we didn't, I hope you wouldn't mind continuing on your way."

Whoops, meant who was he talking to. But Mary-Ann? 'Kay. Where is he (if you know) and was he talking through his mind?

Nope, no mind talking. They're in a deserted hall.
