Gemma: "Im sure she doesn't look like you... I mean, you were here first. Make sure they know it. And detention is straight down the hall, room 109. Have fun," I smiled, crinkling my nose at him.

Well, yes and no. There is no sparkling (Thank God) and no sappy pathetic OMG love story, but there is romance. The gist is the vampires trying to survive through this population wipe due to The Hunters, an old clan bent on taking everyone else down
