The Fountain

Matteo: Why? So you can find the fountain first, deny my brother even a drink, and let him die? Oh please, I know who you work for. But I smirk and start to hater my things. "No can do, LeVoy. I need it for a very important school project."

Clara: He was going to play dumb with me? I arched an eyebrow. "You're older than your brother, yes? So if this were a school project, then why is he studying for it, too?"

Matteo: My smirk instantly drops and my eyes narrow. What did she mean Armand was "studying" this too? "I'll only tell you this once," I say coolly. "Keep my family out of this."

Clara: "Don't you know the golden rule? Treat others the way you want to be treated," My books slammed onto his tabletop. It looked like I had angrily done it, I hoped. But I quickly made my face look shocked, as if that were the worst thing I'd ever said in my life. I grabbed my books, and scurried off "So sorry!"

When I was safely in a separate wing of the building I smirked, and looked at the bottom of my stack. It was the book he wouldn't give me, the one he was supposedly studying. And now? It was mine.

Matteo: Crazy wench. I start loading up my bag again when I notice something. My eyes narrow. So that's what she wants to do, huh? I head over to the information desk and scoot the lady out the way, imitating hers perfectly. I flip on the PA and tap the mike. "Yes, will a Miss Clara LeVoy please come to the front desk? Two people are waiting for you and they insist you hurry." And with that, I duck down beneath the desk and wait, giving the woman a hundred bucks to keep silent.

Clara: Avril and Marcus would never do that over the intercom. I rolled my eyes. They'd much rather think themselves clever in finding me themselves. I crouched in a corner and sat on the book, while reading another one, in case that guy chased after me and found me.

Matteo: After awhile, impatience gets to me and ai start looking for her on my own, finally finding her in some damn near deserted corner if the library. "Give me the book. And don't try playing stupid, cuz I don't have time."

Clara: "And I care about your time, why?" I didn't glance up.

Matteo: I grab her bag and turn it upside down, shaking it until everything comes out. Nope, no book. "Get up," I say.

Clara: "No. And if you make me I'll scream rape," Clara said, fully willing to do it, too. She wasn't in a deserted corner, there were people about. Surely they would care, especially since one of them was a security guard.

Rosalie: I sat on a bench near the library, crying silently while sitting on the internet. God, I was some ugly dumb ass who had no social skills whatsoever. I was useless, and I meantt nothing to everyone. Even strangers.

Matteo: "You act like I care," I sniff. Dad will just buy me out of jail and even if the tabloids flip, what'll it matter? I'm leaving in two days. "I'll try this again. Get. Up."

Clara: "No," I said flatly. If he was using the same tactic again, so would I.

Matteo: Fine then. I immiediately bend down and pull her over my shoulder cave man style. When I see the book, I grin and pocket it. "There, was that so hard?" I ask still holding her." Let's see...I should probably start running in three, two, one...

Clara: "RAPE! FIRE! RAPE! RAPE! RAPE! FIRE!" I threw the fires in because i had heard that people reacted better when they thought they were endanger themselves. I wiggled, making it difficult for him to drop me. This way the security guard had made it over, and placed a hand on the guy's shoulder. Asking him to please drop me. MWHAHAHA.

Matteo: I let go of her easily, smirking a bit as she fell flat on her ass. "What seems to be the problem here, officir?"

Clara: While the officer asked what he had been doing exactly, I rubbed my neck in one spot as hard as I could, now it looked red and bruised, like blonde guy had abused me or hickeyed me or something. I didn't care if I had fallen on my butt.

I don't wanna play the officer.

I can!

Cop dude: I looked at the girl. "Did you hit or assault this girl at all?" I asked him, frowning.

Gah, I don't either. >.>
How linient do you think he'd be?

Matteo: "Well you see officer, all I wanted was my book back. It was cheked out under my name as can be checked by library records and this young lady tried to steal it. She was talking incessantly about some stupid myth or other, guess she's getting caught up in all that junk about the fountain or whatever."

Officer: "that didn't answer my question." I said flatly. "The girl's neck is red. Did you hit her?" I demanded.

Oh, youll see.

Matteo: "No," I say frankly. "And you can check your cameras."

Cop guy: "then explain why her neck is red." I snapped.
