Chuck: "Already lost 'em," I say with a smirk. I notice some girl eating a salad and I almost throw up. How can anyone eat that crap. Grabbing a tray, I head over to the line and look around. Hell yea, they are selling hamburger! Although I doubt it's free...

Calandria suddenly realised how hungry she was. So much food...everything looked good. She took a tiny bit of everything, until her tray was like a pallete of tastes and smells. She noticed Chuck make a face when she took some carrots. "Not much for veggies?" she joked as she payed the lunch lady for her food.

Adrianna: "Hey, mind hitting me up?" I call when I see a guy with a lighter below me. I'd gone to the girl's bathroom since I thought I'd at least be able to get a hit there without that old lady finding me again. But guess who ran out of matches? I'd thrown open the window and was about to call down to the people down on the field when I spotted this guy. Biting down on my jay, I sit on the window sil and look down. I'm only on the second story. I've jumped from higher.

Chuck: "I'll never know how you can eat those things..." I say. My own plate was as of yet empty. But when I approach the hamburger ladies, one of them takes one look at my hair and goes to the fridge, coming back a few minutes later with a fresh pack of raw ground beef.

Gregory: "Yea," I say as I turn towards the wall. "Not friends."

Jace
I shrug, turning the lighter off and tossing it to her on the ledge "Take it, I have another" I call up, turning to walk away. It hadn't been that entertaining, anyway.

Calanthia stared at the beef for a moment, then made a face. "Alright...that's gross. And I'm not a picky eater."

Russel shrugged. "Sure. Glad we can agree on something."

Gregory: "Then it's settled," I mutter as I try to fall asleep.

Adrianna: "Sweet," I say with a small grin. It's pretty nice too, nine of the plastic ones you get from seven eleven. I light up my jay and let out a few breaths, looking down at the guy. "Sure you don't want some? You look like you need it more than I do."

Chuck: I stick out my tongue. She must not have heard about my family. "What can I say? Everyone in my family is like ths."

Jace
I turn back around, a faint smile playing on my lips "I'm alright, I'm sure there's something I should be doing" I shrug "Apparently, I don't know what it is yet"

Russel smirked. This was going to be a long year.

Calanthia blinked. "You all eat raw meat?"

Adrianna: "Truuue," I say as I swing my legs out the window. "But if you knew your purpose in life already, things would be boring. And then instead of doing 'something' you'd be standing there being bored."

Chuck: I scratch my head and frown. "Um, yea... Didn't you know that? The Aliz clan can't stand anything cooked or grown from the ground. We take one look at that stuff and head for the hills."

Jace
"Mmh? More bored then I already am? That would be a hard one. If I knew what I was doing, I'd be out there doing it instead of giving lighters to kids"

Calanthia shrugged as they headed for a table. "Sorry. Newbie. The wolf world's a new subject for me."

Adrianna: I cock my head and let out a puff of curly white smoke. "And then what would you do with yourself?" I ask. "What if you did everything you were meant to do and came right back to where you are now? Would you still find purpose in anything you did?"

Gregory: I distantly hear knocking on the door but bury my head further into the bed. That other guy can get it.

Chuck: I shrug. "Eh, it's ok. I mean, I couldn't tell you a damn thing about the rat life except for the story my aunt told me."

Jace
I shrug "Guess I won't know until I get to that point. Maybe so, maybe not, but whatever happens, at least I'll know by then" This was a pretty philosophical conversation for someone her age "assuming I ever get there"

Adrianna: "Of course you will," I say easily. "Its not a matter of if you'll accomplish what you were born to do in life, but when. Even if some people were only meant to bump into some guy who would later become the greatest president in all of history, they did what they were meant to do."

Russel opened his eyes at the sound of the knock. Gregory didn't budge. So he slipped out of bed silently and boredly opened the door.

Calanthia cocked an eyebrow and nibbled on a forkful of mac and cheese. "What's that?"

Jace
"So with your theory, I could have already accomplished my life goal without knowing it? That's... disapointing, to say the least" So some people are born to be leaders, some, to bump into leaders. Somehow that didn't seem quite fair

Chuck: "The story of how weres came to be," I say. "She's a history teacher here, so she knows all about that crap. But it's pretty heavy stuff for a lunch conversation." Plus that story always leads to the one about how my family became like this.

Annemarie: I gently sway back and forth on my toes out of habit as I wait for the door to open, clutching my violin case to my chest. When the door opens, I stop and blink. "Oh," I say softly. "Is my brother in there?"

Adrianna: "And maybe I'm just here to have this conversation with you. Or support my drug dealer." I hop out of the window and land not a little wobbily on the ground below. When I regain my balance, I offer my hand. "Kezzle, Adrianna Kezzle," I say serenely.

Russel blinked. "Is your brother a wolf named Gregory?"

Calanthia nodded. "Save history for the classroom." She picked at a bit of salad. "I'm not quite ready for school to start yet."

Jace
"Jace Michel, nice to meet you" I say, shaking her hand. She was an interesting 15 year old, though I have never been very fond of hanging out with children.

It's weird, because usually I'm pretty good at making jerk characters *grabs Jace by the shoulders* *shakes* WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU, BOY?!
