Cricket: he grinned. Compared to what he was used to, it was heaven. "Tha's nice," he said, "like what you've done 'ere." There was one thing he didn't like: it was too clean. He was scared to touch anything, or walk on anything, or come near anything, for fear of leaving a fingerprint.

Finn: He just hoped that Develyn would behave. She liked to fly around, and many a time had gotten him kicked out of some store or another because she broke something.

Benny: I laughed. "Well go on in," i said, ushering them in. IT was like they had ever seen a place like this, anywhere, ever. I walked in and put the keys in my pocket.

Cricket: he hid the wonder in his expression when Benny laughed, and replaced it with a cool smile. Maybe houses like this were normal for other people, he wouldn't know. But he had to blend in. This would be hard for Finn, he knew, who had never slept on a bed for as long as he could remember. Cricket looked around futher when they were inside. He whistled to Finn, caution.

Finn: Develyn was eyeing the keys again. They caught her eye, and she'd seen where they'd been stashed. Finn held a hand on her to make sure she didn't jet after them.

Ami: I took in the stark whiteness. Too white; too much like a hospital. I felt very uncomfortable here, but hoped the rest of the house might be some other color.
Emily: "Thanks BennY!" I ran upstairs and claimed the biggest room. "SHOTTIE!"
Kimmi: "No you're not, you dork!"

benny: "Is your bird going to eat me or...?" I asked, looking as the bird stared at me hungrily.

Marnie: I whistled a tune to her and she calmed. "Develyn likes shiny things?" I took off the bell from my bag and dangled it in front of her.

Finn: he grabbed Develyn around her middle when she lurched outward. "She's harmless...your keys. She likes shiny things, a'right. Don' worry, I'll keep 'er out of--" she lurched again, this time in the direction of the bell, flapping her wings the way a cat swishes its tail when its angry. "--trouble." She freed herself and swooped to snatch up the bell, fluttering to the highest perch she could find in the apartment.

Cricket: Hmm...everything in this place was shiny...he hoped that wasn't going to be a problem.

Benny: "Ah. Okay..." I went to my room and placed my keys in the locked box, then placed that box in my closet, and I locked that door. Can never be to safe. "Claim your rooms, and decide what you want to do. Sleep, i assume."

EmilY: I called down the staircase, "Done!'
Kimmi: "You are not! This is my room!"
Jess: I went up and took the room next to the married couple. "I'll take this one!"
Mike: "Shall we, my dear?"
Marnie: I smiled. "Of course, Mike." I took his hand and he lead me up.
Ami: I shook my head at all of them. "They act like children..." I smiled though.

Cricket: he listened to the multiple wood-hits-wood sounds, and chuckled. "Y' can never be too careful, but I don' think the bird's that smart," he said, and started up the stairs. "I call whichever room I find first." He whistled to Finn, coming?, this time out of habit rather than to be secretive. Finn trotted up the stairs behind him. Develyn would follow eventually.

Finn: "What he said," he grinned. "G'night!"

Ami: That left me and Benny. At the rate Emily and Kimmi were going, their powers might just randomly flair up but i hoped they would be smart enough to calm down soon. I wasn't going to be around them twenty four seven, so they'd better learn to control them without me having to badger them about it.

Benny: I wasn't hiding em from the bird... "Good night." I said happily. "Don't break anything..." muttering, I stripped down to my boxers and climbed into my bed, door still open in case something happened

Ami: I took the room at the end of the hall and let Mo out. "Sorry, Mo. i dont think he'd react great if he knew." he simply nodded and curled up on one of the extra pillows i threw down to the floor.

Benny: For some reason, i couldn't sleep. maybe because there were ((place total number of charries not counting benny here)) strangers in my house? my expensive house? I shrugged it off. They were all my age, if not younger. What could 17 and younger people do?

Black&White: HARRY POTTER!

Finn belly-flopped onto the first bed in the first open room he saw. Cricket shut the door behind them.

Finn: "Ah. I's like sleeping on air. 'cept the chilly part. Luck, jus' luck, getting t' sleep on this every night..."

Cricket: "It's jus' a bed, enjoy it." He walked out of his boots and sat on another bed, and felt his shoulder for...dang it. He'd forgotten his backpack in the car.

Finn: "What? Don' s'pose you've ever slept on one b'fore." He looked at Cricket, who smiled shyly.

Cricket: "Actually..."

Finn: He sat up. "What? Where was I?"

Cricket: "If you think I sleep in that old rickety bell tower every day, you're kidding."

Finn: He smirked, and then flopped down on the bed again. "G'night."

Cricket got up to turn out the lights, and then stayed there in the dark. He didn't feel like sleeping.

Benny: I pulled out a book from the drawer by my bed and began reading it for the eighth time.

Cricket: He scolded himself for being so nocternal, and sat down on his bed. But he couldn't sleep. It was too quiet, too dark. After a while, the only sound in the room was Finn's quiet breathing. Asleep, just like that. Everyone except for Cricket.

That backpack...boy, what if Benny found it? Opened it? He was already suspicious. If he found that backpack full of jewelry he would be kicked out on the streets, or behind bars, before he could say It's not what it looks like.

Cricket: Dang. Aw, can this, he said, and walked back into his boots as he crept to the door. He was careful to shut it quietly on the way out, and made his way back downstairs. What was he doing? He didn't know. Breaking into the car was out, he didn't want to get in trouble with the police. He needed to do something other than sitting there. Something fun.

Benny: i heard footsteps going down the stairs, and I swore. I threw on a pair of sweatpants and followed the noise. "Ciao?"

Cricket: Benny had the ears of a bat. " Ah, 'ello. Sorry, I'm not much of a night sleeper." He smiled slightly and shrugged in a what can I say? sort of expression.

Benny: "Neither am I..." i said, still wary. "were you hungry, or something?"

Cricket: "After that dinner? Nah, I 'aven't eaten that much since a free festival back 'ome. Jus' felt like finding something t' do, is all. I think better if I'm walking." From the corner of his eye, he saw Develyn staring at him warily, jingling the little bell in her beak.
